    my projected depth chart (barring injuries) for the Pats by September 10... pretty sure thats 53. This is a complete guess and is guaranteed to have something wrong with it. There are over 80 players trying working with the team, almost all of which could make the team by opening day. This year will be tough to make cuts.

    Craig Counsell on steroids??? his 6'0" 185 lbs and has never hit more than 9 HR in a year. He does play GREAT defense and can steal bases. Also has a good career OBP, .347. Hes also hitting .300 this year.

    i play OF right now, and agree that CF is the easiest. It much easier to get a good jump playing CF than one of the corners. You need to be able to cover more ground in CF, but dont necesarily need a strong arm. In center you know where the ball is going, right after it leaves the bat. In LF/RF its harder to judge the ball.

    i think all new stadiums need atleast a retractable roof. Im not a fan of the pure domes, such as Minnesota and Toronto. But i think the retractable ones should be mandatory to all teams creating new ballparks. This makeup games can really affect how a team plays and could contribute to a team not making the playoffs. Say a team at the begining of the season, gets off to a hot start, say 16-4 and a 5 game winning streak. Then their next 2 games get rained out and they have to make them up in June. June comes along and the teams struggling, winning 2 of their last 12. They lose the 2 games and end up not making the playoffs by 1 game. Rainouts are also a pain to re-schedule and screws up pitching matchups. I hate rain outs!!

    id have to say that so far, the team ive been most impressed with is Buffalo. I think it will be between Anaheim and San Jose for the western championship, and San Jose wins. So my pick is Buffalo beating San Jose in 6 games.
