ya Rheinecker has pitched great this year, especially after his first start. It seems like most pitchers seem to pitch most better after their first major league start. So if Lester isnt great tommorow, its not the end of the world for him.

Great Game tonight. Schill got a little lucky, but whatever, ill take it. Papelbon was dirty in he 9th, like usual K'ing Giambi and Arod to end it.

In this 3 game series, which had Pauley, Beckett and Schilling pitch, it looks like Pauley will have had the best start of the 3, unless Schill no-hits them the rest of the way.

id rather see Pauley Sunday than Clement, but there would be no real option for Clement in that situation.

i dont think either did, but McGwire did play for the A's during the team Grimsley was on the west coast. So its possible McGwire was one of the guys getting it from Mexico.

The Sox and Yankees do share three mutual off days (July 27, Aug. 7, and Sept. 7), but team spokesman John Blake said it appears at the moment that a doubleheader will be the route the teams choose. The Sox play here Friday, Sept. 15, at 7:05 p.m., Saturday Sept. 16 at 1:20 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 17 at 1:05. If they give up Hughes for Lee, i would be the happiest Sox fan alive. I want Lee to, but would never give up someone like Lester or Hansen for him.
