    Giles could be traded, but the Braves think Betemit might be there long term 2nd baseman. Pedroia could play SS for them. They really have no use for Smoltz as he is old and they are out of the playoff race. The only thing is is that smoltz has been there his whole career, which is pretty big

    Van Burens not a ML reliever yet. He needs to refine some things and work on his control ALOT MORE. He has a ridiculous K/BB ratio.

    ya thats what i though to. once i saw him dive, i got a little scared he wouldnt get up. He gets hurt so often, something like that is risky for him. He got up though and hopefully hes fine and just getting a day off. The Sox have a day off Thursday, so there really isnt a need for him to get today off

    Langerhans possibly, they have a lot of options. What about moving Van Buren/Alvarez, Murphy and maybe a low level decent guy for him?

    He had an ERA of 2.58 last year with the Mets and has an ERA of 2.35 this year. A very solid veteran reliever with a career ERA of 3.30. Even though his 41, he still seems to pitch well. He would DEFINETELY be a good guy to pick up, as he could help with our 7th inning relief work.

    as long as Armas isnt shutting us down, thatd be fine Alvarez is supposedly supposed to get the next shot, if Snyder doesnt do well tonight

    Snyder had a lot of potential to be a good pro, just had to many injuries. He was the 7th overall pick in the 1999 draft. Hopefully he can give us 5-6 good innings and keep us in the game

    Ryan Rupe? Jeremi Gonzalez? Jon Halama? or the most random one ever Steve Ontiveros, started one game in 2000 for the Sox. That was the first MLB game he had pitched in since 1995.
