Crisp has more power which isnt that important to being a top of the order guy. OBP is the most important factor and speed helps to. Crisps career OBP--.329 Pierres career OBP--.330 both those number are sad for a top of the lineup hitter, but Pierre has alot more speed than Crisp so that helps a little

Coco's carrer OBP--.329 last year it was.317 Lugo's career OBP--.340 last year it was .341 (it was .373 with TB) Crisp is like Juan Pierre minus the speed. Has awful AB's, has some speed but not incredibly fast and just doesnt look good swinging the bat. Plus Lugo's more of a SB threat than Crisp I would be pissed if this guy was playing over WMP come opening day. Youk can lead off, but have Lugo bat 2nd then

Wang--19-6, 3.63 ERA, 218 IP, 12 HR, 2.85 GO/AO, 1.30 WHIP, 1.46 K/BB Willis--12-12, 3.87 ERA, 223 IP, 21 HR, 1.61 GO/AO, 1.42 WHIP, 1.93 K/BB Both are great and would be a pretty good 1-2 punch in the rotation, but id wouldnt even consider moving Wang for Willis

one good thing about this whole trading Manny thing is that the 3 teams who want him the most, all play in the same division. That should raise the price and get us a little more in return

We aint getting Peavy, Gonzalez and Linebrink for Manny. NO way SD moves all three. Maybe Linebrink and Gonzalez, but id still be hesitant about that deal. If they'd be willing to trade Peavy and Gonzalez, id be all over it.

The only thing im positive about is that Manny will finally be traded. i can gurantee that (with a little help from schilling)

The Padres dont have much to offer for Manny and what we'd want in return, the Padres wont give. From the Dodgers, I think a reasonable deal would include Manny for Broxton, Kemp and Loney.

Some guy on a dodger forum came up with this as a trade possibility Kent, Repko, Loney, Broxton, Hall For... Manny and Lowell kent would play 2b, repko and hall on the bench, loney at first while moving Youk to 3rd and Broxton in the pen as our closer?? not a big fan but i guess it could work for me. Ive never really liked kent before
