    What it boils down to is this, you don't have a right to tell an Asian that they shouldnt be offended by a stereotype aobut them. If I'm going to say something about your particular race, I don't have a right to tell you not to be offended. It's not about being politically correct or whatever, it's called good manners. Even if you think you're complimenting someone, people don't like to be pigeonholded into one particular category, no matter how positive you perceive it to be.

    BTW, in the same way peopel think non Red Sox fans shouldn't make comments about what affects Red Sox nation, I think non Asians probably shouldn't decide whether this is offensive or not. You only wind up looking like an idiot telling an Asian person why they shouldn't be offended by this. Why not make a fried chicken eating joke about black people and then telling them why they shouldn't be offended. Stereotypes are stereotypes.

    it's because he is a blatant cheat who is attempting to basically take a roid-filled piss on the most hallowed stat in baseball and probably all of sports.

    In all honesty I wouldn't care at all. Giambi and Sheff are cheaters like Barry. You can't give on things like this. What Barry is doing though affects the history or baseball and possibly the greatest and most revered stat in all of sports, the HR record. Giambi and Sheff don't have that kind of impact, but if they did, you can be damn sure I'll be there booing them every minute they're in the pinstripes.
