Only thing I don't like about they're Yankees (business-wise) is that yes, they have 200 million+, but they don't spend it wisely at all. I like the Farnsworth, and Dotel move somewhat, but they spend their money on everyone whos' on the wrong side of 30. Damon to me looks iffy in 4 years, I'll be amazed if he produces the way he did last year 4 more times. They went after RJ, who is 40+, and gave up prospects, they went after Kevin Brown, nuff sed, Gary Sheffield OVER Vladamir Guerrero, and got Gordon and Quantrill as bullpen help.
This is why I like the direction the Sox are moving in, though they dont look as solid, they are looking towards the future. Reed is a good solid prospect, and I for one, would love to land him. Lester, Delcarmen, Hansen, Marte, etc. all good future core players.
