    Yeah, it sucks to miss a big game especially afetr you earned the tickets. Happened to me in 03, missed game 5 of the ALCS because of a funeral or a guy who was an ass to my family, but at least it wasn't historic game, because next year I got Game 5 ALCS tickets again, the classic extra inning game with Papi ending it and sending it back to NY.

    Lol, my friend who lives in AZ just got picked by the Yanks, he's like 8 and he hated it because i got him to be a Sox fan.

    I think Ukranians would be pissed at you because I assume you were born here and raised here so it'd be hypocritical for you to join them and dissing us for not playing for the country you have lived your life in. Just liek Alex, I'd be pissed at him not only because of how he acts but also as a fellow citizen, just because he visits the DR and has a citizenship tehre doesn't mean he should slap America in the face, if he did that he should get out of here and live there.

    Well he's probably pissed because he's a Dominican. ARod wasn't raised in the DR so it is hypocritical for him to play for them. Like I'd be a little pissed if I were him too, but I agree he took it too far.

    I dont know the SUmmer Olympics had swimming, which lived up to the hype, the gymnastics wasnt even that bad, and the track wasnt terrible. The basketball blows though

    This years Olympics doesn't have the same appeal to me, why i dont know. Just no good stories really, I much prefer the Summe Olympics over the Winter.

    Yea, there's no question its better then ours, but theres also no way its tops in MLB, I'd but best in NL though, maybe.

    Yeha, their rotation is nasty, I even like ours if Schill does 80% of what he did in 4 and Beckett does well.

    Yeah, it's been known that they keep aksin the Sox to take on his humungo salary and basically let him rot in AAA.

    I still like the ChiSox over them, especially if Jenks can turn into a big time closer, plus the ChiSox gained Vazquez who should be solid and the Stros lost Rojah.

    Bay is wicked underrated, I always draft him in fantasy leagues, he's one of the most consistent hitters in the league.

    WEEI I think reorted we were goin after Richard Hidalgo, I wouldn't mind havin him here, he'd be an above-average 4th OF at worst who could potentially would be Nixon's platoon partner.
