    I can see some reasons whyd we wanna keep him, but I dont think Seanez is better than Riske.

    Well, Lopez is kickinga ss right now in AAA, and he fills the void we had in a solid lefty reliever.

He’s been in Triple-A since, but he put things together last year. Took a look at him to see if his stuff had changed and scouting report showed his stuff was better. His velocity is 85-90, 88 average with a plus sinker and above average slider, changeup, and cutter. [Lately] he’s been much more effective against righthanders. Tito will look to him to get lefties out [primarily], but he’s not a guy you always have to yank out of there after a third of an inning.”

    Yeah, I wouldve much rather traded Tavarez or Seanez, because Riske is a much betetr pitcher than he showcased in his little time here. However Lopez doenst sound half bad, and tehres always a chance he can become a reliable asset to us, especially in tough situations, such as the 12th inning. What we need right now is a solid reliver otehr than Timlin or Papelbon.

    Well, also ARod is kind of egotistical and boatss his accomplishments waayyyy to much, like when he sold the autographed balls after his 10 RBI night, or was talking about how he wakes up early tow ork out in the offseaosn,etc. Liek he's trying to hard tow in over NY fans but he should just focus on playing. he's paid to be an offensive force, not to talk

    Yeah, that infield defense is incredible, most impressive I saw was hwen Pauley decided late to throw to second for the DP instead of home, and it caught Gonzalez off-guard and was way behind him but he catches it and throws in a split-second to first to get the out while off balance. This is also not to mention how great lowell ahs been, I eman he makes it looks o easy that you hardly notice, much betetr than that purple-lipped fella from NY

    What is all this negativeness about a AA pitcher struggling in hi first ML stint? I eman what he did in NY should be enough, I mean talk about pressure, after giving up a lead in Toronto, then going into Yaneke Stadium and effectively shutting down the "potent" Yanee offense, I mean this kid has balls. I love his natural sinker and his curve will be good with some work, AAA was the right move for him, if he can just work on having all 3 pitches to be more consistent, then he'll make a fine ML pitcher one ay, maybe evn joining out trio of Papelbon, Lester, and Beckett.

    Id say he goes eitehr 5/6 with 2/3 ERs, but if Pauleyc an go into Yankee Staidum and shut down the "poweerful" Yankee lineup then I think Lester can pull of sumthin like that.

    I am for one psyched to see him pitch, one of the few pitchers I really cannot wait to see crack the majors, and it will be inetresting tos ee how he handles the potent Ranger's lineup.

    Pauley does very much resemble Lowe, and his fastball naturally sinks and he has good command of it. His curve is better than Lowe's and with work could be devestating. His change seems good especially when used at the right moment also, Im ver impressed with him so far.
