  1. that doesnt mean he's an *******, he couldv'e been very focused at the time, or hd a tight schedule, who knows, I mean I doubt he's as much of an ******* as say Sheffield or Johnson.
  2. By the end of the season you know someone will bring up the value part of the mvp award, and papelbon certainly holds a lot of value to this team and decides how well it will do. With him going 10 for 10 he's insured us wins maybe ther closers couldn't a la Foulke last year.
  3. Lol, yeah, your want another side of excuses to go along with that crow?
  4. Is Belli going to be back for tonight's game?
  5. That video is kinda funny, but it's also kinda stupid
  6. Yeah, chances are a career .300 hitter will hit the way he has throughout his career.
  7. Nance was ranked 6th among wideouts and would give us a great height advantage inside the 10. He was really underrated in his athleticness, and has great leaping ability to go along with strong hands, also he could hlp with the running game as he is very physical and can provide some blocking.
  8. lol yea emprie, your fans have alreay spoken for your view on players switchin to sox jerey's, look at Wells, and he ah plenty more histroy with the yanks then Johnny does with the Sox. The silent treatment wold be fantastic. I mean like the whole AB, just utter silence, then no matter the outcome just go back toyour regular boos for the otehr players.
  9. Well I really thought this draftw as productive, I like gettin Mincey so late, considering he was a projected mid-round guy. Here's the ratings at their posistions going into the draft, compared to all the other prospects. 1. Laurence Maroney - 2nd/30 -4 stars 2. Chad Jackson - 2nd/47 -4 stars 3. David Thomas - 10th/24 -2 stars 4a. Garrett Mills - 1st/12 -2 stars 4b. Stephen Gostkowski - 3rd/6 -1 star 5. Ryan O’Callaghan– - 8th/33 -3 stars 6a. Jeremy Mincey - 17th/38 (DE) - 2 stars 6b. Dan Stevenson - 13th/27 -1 star 6c. Le Kevin Smith 14th/35 -2 stars 7. Willie Andrews– 24th/32 - 1 star
  10. I'm startin to like our draft more and more, and all of it, not just teh first two rounds. I read up on Thomas, he's a sure-handed red zone type guy, who can long-snap AND play special teams. Jackson I also think will be a good nfl wr, and Maroney just needs some muscle ans he's all set.
  11. I don't really like the 3rd rounder in Thomas, I really wouldv'e liekd to have gotten some-type of LB or defensive back. I mean we're pretty much set with Watson and Graham so this really puzzles me.
  12. 9 k's in 5 innings aint bad at all
  13. if she's good enuff, whcih SC promoted ehr to be, then she should, I heard she ahs a flawles swing
  14. The way I see it is that Foulke needs to turn to 04 form to get any decent or near what he has now offers from us. If he does not become the dominant closer he was, then there's no way we're payin him 7 million a year to be a middle reliever. However there's nothing wrong with what he said, SI seems to oversell a lot of things.
  15. Yeah, it'd be better to give this extra time to heal so it doesn't emss with the rest of the eyars left on his contract.
  16. Yeah, thats what I've been eharin, I'd love to get a good OLB in teh 1st, Stovall 2nd, and RB in 3rd
  17. Many have the Pats pickin up Carpenter, but rumor has it is that we'll use some of our picks to go up a few spots to get as high as Hawk, but that is unlikely. I think the Pats are goin to wait until next year for a back, an focus on OLB/CB/WRs this draft in the top 3 rounds, however we have so many picks who knows who else we'll pick up.
  18. buster olney is sayin yankess/Astros are probably Clemen's top choices. Except he used explanations that really only benefitted the Yanks, and gave no real view of anything that would benefit Clemens. Such as how they need him to fill out their rotation, wouldn't have to trade any prospects, and wouldn't have to worry about if he could handle the Yankee spotlight.
  19. I agree, I hope Tito knows this, with him being stat guy n all. I wold maybe try n split the innings between Timlin/Foulke and paelbon ( I for one have a lot more faith in Foulke after his last outing).
  20. Well, I know that the Sox are worried about Abe having trouble getting righties out, and if he can find someway to do that then he'll have a better chance.
  21. This game all depends on Clement, if he can keep to 3/4 runs then maybe we'll have a chance.
  22. Wait, did the show hosts disagree with the caller? I mean there's your obvious answer right there
  23. tahts pretty atrocious, but w/e, he could have a mullet and I'd still like him.
  24. Well they are down from like 200 mill to about 189
  25. That's what I can't wait for, if all goes well that could be one of the best starting rotations in the legaue
