  1. So Philip Hughes has dominated at every level but he sucks. I'm really confused. He had a 1 ERA in his first full season this year before he was called up to I believe Charleston. God I wish most of our prospects sucked that bad.
  2. Well we agree there. The worst show on YES by far is running.
  3. I never said they didnt stink. Kaat is the only good one because hes is the "most" objective. I give Remy credit because he gets on the Sox sometimes.
  4. Whos the Yankee best pitching prospect? lmao please tell me.
  5. Why would you want to watch anything on YES anyway? I feel the same about NESN.
  6. I shouldnt have said you mentioned the stat. You predicted a 8-5 score so I figured you were aware of the stat. I guess you shouldnt assume.
  7. Well you mentioned the fact that the D-Rays hit him well so I didnt feel I had to show you that stat.
  8. Torre really mismanaged this inning. Wang should have never pitched this inning.
  9. ah no they didnt throw them out. They had his stats against the league next to his stats against the D-Rays.
  10. But why try and correct me when I was simply comparing D-Rays BAA against Wang to the rest of the leagues BAA. The only reason why I brought up the AL BAA Wang was that you made it sound like hes a s*** pitcher when its not true.
  11. One more thing......how would the D-Rays stats make him look better when they hit him at a 350 clip?
  12. Who cares its the truth. The D-Rays have owned him. They were comparing his stats against other teams vs the D-Rays.
  13. Thats not the point at this point. You called me out for saying that his BAA was 235 against all teams but you failed to "comprehend" what I said and in the process you preceeded to belittle me. Plus when you show his BAA against the rest of the teams compared to his BAA against the D-Rays it show how well they hit him compared to other teams SO YES IT IS REVELENT. Thank you come again......
  14. Intresting because I thought I said in that post "(Besides the D-Rays)" the league hits .235 off of "Mr. Wang"(I got that stat from the YES pregame show). Maybe you should re-read my post. Apparently English is something YOU fail to comprehend.
  15. My condolences to the Clemens family
  16. The last pitcher to win 4 games against the Yankees in a season was Chuck Finely. I remember he use to give the Yankees hell.
  17. Wang isnt a strikeout pitcher. Hes a strick ground ball pitcher. The rest of the league (Besides the D-Rays) hit 235 against him, which disproves your "notion" about him leaving pitches in the zone routinely.
  18. Tough loss for what (if you go by stats) is the best bullpen in the league.
  19. i didnt know an all Rodriguez team played an all Ortiz team last year. I must have missed that series.
  20. A classic example is Sheffield. If Sheffield played DH all year last year maybe he wouldnt have hurt his shoulder as bad as he did and maybe he puts up better numbers and in turn wins the MVP. If Sheffield played full time DH this year he wouldnt have a knee problem and he wouldnt be out currently.
  21. The bottomline is if Ortiz played 1B on an everyday basis he would get his nickes and he would also tire. As a result the bat may not be as quick and that affects the hitting. DH is a major advantage. Put A-Rod at DH everyday and he might hit 50 HR's.
  22. Are you telling me defense isnt valuable? The bottomline is Ortiz has a major advantage and he still doesnt have better numbers then A-Rod. You said that the rules say that DH is a position which is true but its simply an advantage. Plus your brought up the "MVP = Most valuable player" point. Well as long as Andre Dawson, Don Mattingly and A-Rod won the MVP with teams that didnt make the playoffs then I will interpet the "MVP" award as an award for the best player in each league.
  23. I'm not calling for Rivera to win the CY Young. They have an award for relievers. As for Don Baylor (who won the award in 1979) he played 97 games in the OF and 65 games at DH. Ortiz has only played 10 games at first. IMO thats a huge advantage. Once again I'm not diminishing what Ortiz has done but he has put up most of those #'s at DH and the numbers still arent better then A-Rod who has played almost all of his games at 3B.
