Jeter being one of the best Yankees of all time isn't an argument or an opinion, it's a fact. He's going to end his career with well more than 3000 hits, 4+ world series rings, a boatload of big hits and moments. By the time he's done he's going to lead the franchise in hits, stolen bases, games played. He's going to be in the top 5 when it comes to runs, doubles, total bases, batting average. And in the top 10 in HRs and RBIs (from a guy who's been a leadoff hitter for much of his career.) Not to mention the leadership he's offered as captain or how he's been the face of the decade for over a decade.
I dont know if it's just sour grapes or something, but it's almost nonsensical to say Jeter isn't one of the top 10 players to ever wear the pinstripes.
