    9 and 11 is a lot better than 8 and 12. They are just digging themselves further down in the Hole. Baltimore is a s*** team. Yes, that's when you want to rest players as even a lineup like they rolled yesterday they could win against Baltimore. Yeah Cora won the world series in 2018. That team was stacked. Any manager would of won with that team. They had 2 MVPs in the batting lineup and the pitching was quite good all around.

    Sitting Vlad is a whole different story. The Jay's are doing well so they can afford to sit him right now. The Sox are not doing well and can't really afford to sit top players right now. Yes it's a long season but these games count just as much as the ones in August/September. Last year is a great example how great it is when you start the season strong, even faltering down the stretch they made the playoffs. Have you seen an NHL player take a day off? In any sports I've never seen a league give so many rest days. It's a long season? It's baseball. You can't even run the cather down anymore or break double plays. Old school players played every game with all that involved.

    This makes zero sense. If you had plan on using him late game put him to begin with ffs. That's actually worse for him for an injury. Coming into the game cold

    No it doesn't. There's signing someone and then there is signing someone to a bad deal. There was a lot of options this off season but yet they chose Story who hit at Coors field.

    He is, he's also pitching to a team with half their lienup hitting on a minor league level

    To me Story was signed out of reaction. Like they felt they needed to make a move for the fan base as every team around them were making a splash. Should of just stood still.

    You don't rest a player who's on a hot streak. I'd be pissed as a player. This ain't 2018 when your team is so good you can afford to give players a day off. This is like me at work. Ah, yeah we're going to give you the day off today, work is a little busy but you know screw it. Have a day.

    Story isn't a better SS than Bogey. You can't just factor in defense. Overall Bogey is the better player hands down

    Based on how this team is being managed it doesnt look they give a s*** about this year. It's like they are testing out things for next year which makes sense for the reset.
