Renfroe prior to 2 years ago had 26,26 amd 33HR seasons. People act like last year was the first time for him doing that. It was not a fluke -
Rbi is a poor measure to value an offensive player. The fact that Renfroe has 8 more HRs tells you right there. Not his fault that in all those HR that there wasn't anymore runners on base.

Renfroe is on pace for 35+ HR and a 5 WAR. So much for last year being a fluke season. A lot of season left and he may falter but he will definitely have a much better offensive year than JBJ

He was at 0.2 before that game he homered in the other night. A couple of 0 for 4 nights and he will be right back there. That's why I'm not a fan of these advance metrics. If you had 9 Jackie Bradley on your team you wouldn't win much games. Saving all those runs means crap if you can't score any.

That won't last long. Everytime this season when JBJ has had a few good games he goes back to sucking for a few weeks. I'll be shocked if he can put up an OPS above 600 this year

Mike Trout still a machine out there. Insane how he keeps putting up those numbers every year. He's never had an off year.

I'd extend JD for the right price. His OPS so far with the Sox is at 916. He's been worth it

He stinks period. He will have his usual streak where he will be good for one month of the season and fans will call it a good season. Same crap every year with him. Meanwhile Renfroe is looking like he will duplicate last year's production which many fans said he wouldn't and it was fluke.

It's too soon to say he's bust but you can't say it doesn't look good as these are his prime years so these are the years everyone said he would mash. I just can't see him being much productive in another 2-3 years. So if he's not mashing right now it's not looking good. Remember that a lot of his WAR comes from his D and Baserunning. Those don't age well past 30.

So based on your logic Trout should be asking 80 Million a year and Bogey should be asking 40Million as he's pretty much a 5WAR player every year. So you'd be OK then if the Sox offered Bogey 40Mil a year

Devers has had one monster year and that was in 2019 when he produced a 6.7WAR. He's never been close any other years to that. You don't give him a mega deal unless he can show he can do that again. Wait to see how ge does this year and next.
