    i know this is off topic but youk hasent prove anything else except for his OBP wich was 400 last year mind you it was only in 80 at bats , i see him as a 270 hitter at the most who strikes out quite a bit too every 4.5 at bats ,i know this is only spring training but he isnt doing s*** right now ,and pitchers arent even at their best

"We considered all our options and decided not to tag anybody there you go ,next time look more into it before you bash a player , you know what i would have done the same f***ing thing,if you dont want to sign me ,il go to the next best team and thats what happened,they didnt even make an effort for him. you guys need to stop bashing the players that leave and move on ,to be honest on everything that has happened this off season im not pissed at anyone at all, i just cant wait til the season starts and see how the new players do

    i agree,i think they should have done like the previous round put the final four teams in the same pool ,made them play each other once and then the top 2 teams of that pool goes to the final game

    i agree there that guy is way to much overated,no offense but i laughed my head off when i heard he was going to be USA's coach also its not only USA that should fire him its every ball club he goes to

    i wouldnt brag about that ,japan has barely any major leaguers in their lineup,and it isnt because of the yankee players that their this far its because of Lee,not to mentioned the big controversial call in the 8 inning

    check his career stats : 17 PPG, 8.72 RPG, 1.32 APG, 1.85 block shots per game those arent great stats to me,plus he only plays around 30 min a game,his defense aint that great ,he cant pass the ball,the only thing hes good at is shooting free throws pisses me off to see him start at the all star game every year cause he dosent deserve it

    you can still make an offer during the regular season.boras is not the one whos gonna decide wich team he wants to play with .if they would have made an offer that JD liked earlier in the season he would have took it .

    the front office could of have inked him earlier in the season at a cheaper price than the yanks gave him, but no they had to wait til the end of the seaon as they did with pedro and lost again

    agree 100 percent here as well, dont fault johnny ,its the front office. as far as saying johnny wasent busting his balls out , you dont put numbers like damon did by slacking off. if i were in his position i would have made the same decision JD made,the front office were screwing with him all year long

    you seriously would like soriano on your team again? do you not remember what production he had for you guys the last 2 years he was on your team in the post season? face it the yanks needs people who can come in the clutch come playoff time ,wich hasent happened since they won there last WS. soriano is defenitely not the guy you want when it comes crunch time,thats probably one of the reason they let him go to begin with

    so having someone hitting 35 homeruns is automaticaly a better player than someone who hits 20?it would be if they were good in any other categories. but soriano isnt .bassicaly all hes worth is hitting 1 homerun every 20 at bats ,thats all he brings to the table,

    exactly plus when it comes playoff time he's like bellhorne strikes out all the time.hes not worth to get. 320 career OBP thats not that great ,s***** contact hitter as wel. Oh wait lets check the postseason stats 233 BA , 287 OBP . real nice in the clutch. i dont like him at all. i dont know why we should go after him
