  1. yeah if your winning by ten runs, or loosing by 10 runs to give the other guys a rest
  2. and also ortiz has won way more games than arod does with his defense and offense combined!
  3. stats dont lie
  4. actually i dont find his defense is that great to be honest ,if im not mistaken he was the one being replaced last year in late innings cause of his defense
  5. for everyone that keeps saying arod is a great defensive player ,he has the worst feilding percentage of his team (thats with a minimum 17 games played and not including pitchers )
  6. well i think 1 for 13 explains it
  7. ortiz and manny are combined 8 for 8 with 8 runs and 7 rbi's
  8. yup i hope he f***ing hits 4 tonight
  9. the offense has awaking and im stuck at work :thumbdown
  10. hands down eh? well he will be pretty close to those numbers by the time the season is over
  11. and for the second time im saying this last years MVP didnt lead in OPS and was under 1000
  12. thank god we keep are lead 1 1/2
  13. they have to make saarloos works so far he has only trown 35 pitches
  14. ok lets go offense at least get a run or 2 to get it going
  15. its about time they get him outa there, too late tough
  16. lets hope the sox offense kicks ass today or we are in s***
  17. i am but not for long if f***ing clement cant get it together
  18. weird last years mvp didnt lead in OPS or OBP
  19. what clutch play any third baseman would have made that play
  20. the only time a hitter can run to first on a pass ball with first base occupied is with 2 outs
  21. arod's defense aint that great BTW Rodriguez isn't having a good season at third — he's second worst among AL regulars in range factor, which is putouts and assists divided by innings, and zone rating, which is the percentage of balls fielded in his typical defensive zone, according to STATS, Inc wich is the reason he only has 11 errors! he would have way more otherwise
  22. without ortiz in the lineup the red sox are probly not in first place , the yanks without arod wouldnt be much of a difference,so who is more valuable
  23. well i find getting clutch hits is better, i mean how many games did a rod won with his glove this year ?without ortiz in the lineup againts toronto they might have lost all 3 games and only be a half game lead now.
