  1. well then its good that the feelings are mutual. as for KG not being a winner, ok, well at least he's gotten to the western conference finals when he actually had support and some semblance of a team around him. hmm, sounds familiar, paul pierce anybody??? as far teaching how to be a winner...uh, what was exactly the last thing they won??? ....and who's gonna do the teaching??
  2. with the year wang is having for you guys, i'd say he's your number one right now....but buehrle would def. be no worse than #2. maybe its seeing him all these years in a chi-sox uni, but i really see him wearing pinstripes before he puts on a bosox jersey, (crosses fingers) the interesting thing would be what cashman would give up to get him.
  3. werd. if buchholz has the greater upside, its a no-brainer...lester may have endeared himself to the RSN, but business is business, and nothing short of the pennant will be a huge disapointment. if schill wasn't struggling, this wouldnt be a huge priority, and since all signs point to him not returning, it could open up a spot for buehrle if we wants to remain with a competitor. i just dunno. something tells me the yanks might be last minute players for him... he seems like someone they would go after pretty hard, especially since they could use all the pitching help they could get. (not to mention he'd most likely be a front of the rotation guy for them with the sub-par year mussina is having.)
  4. who is buehrle's agent? if its boras i can guarantee you he'd only be a half season rental. with the ridiculous jack average to slightly above average players/pitchers received last offseason, it might be too much of a temptation for him not to hit the open market. if on the other hand, he cares about winning, and would be willing to sign an extension, i might part with a good pitching prospect who would otherwise be blocked from joining the rotation.
  5. yeah maybe as a spot starter...to rest one of the regulars who could use as little more time off prior to the playoff push.
  6. lmfao.
  7. as long as angelos is still owner there, tejada will only leave as a FA.
  8. lolz. i was worried he was damaged goods when he was signed, unless he can relearn how to pitch without the velocity he's used to having....then he's done. i'd send him on rehab assignment down at AAA until he can regain his condfidence and show that he belongs in the rotation.
  9. well i was going to come back with how the yanks would be in tied with either arizona or colorado since pitching is what counts in our league and they have none of it outside of wang....but then the halos just got off us this past weekend and are 5-1 against us this season. the yanks have put together a nice streak, but let's see how long it lasts...as soon as their bats cool off again so will they.
  10. despite having the #1 selling jersey in the league this year, is kobe finally on his way out? it appears after meeting with lakers owner jerry buss over the weekend in spain, kobe asked again to be traded so who knows... as a lifelong laker fan, lets just say there won't be any tears if/when he leaves, i just hope we dont get screwed over like we did when we traded shaq. even if kobe leaves, i'd still trade for jermaine o'neal...and build around him.... ***crosses fingers***
  11. well it helps that the nba isnt shown on versus unlike the nhl...otherwise who knows how much worse the ratings could have been.
  12. i'll say this about theo...he seemed more effective when he didnt have total control like he has now....then again, maybe its just a coincidence, in any case im not gonna scream for his head like other trolls here (who have since been banned) do, but im not really to light a candle at his altar and not question his moves either. i'd give nancy and lugo till the all star break....if they can't get it together, it might be time to leave them on the bench and see if someone else can get the job done.
  13. outside of anaheim, i dont think there's a single series the yanks could lose the way they've been playin...i wish they could keep playin the halos over and over...lol :harhar:
  14. wake me up when its time for the draft....until then...zZZzZZZZ
  15. i believe it was terry collins...., but i digress, back to the original point, i believe the only reason players still say they want to play in new york is the $$$ that comes along with that. also, last i checked vlad guerrero didnt want anything having to do with playing in new york. outside of pettite, (which after subpar years in houston is desperate to recapture/relive his best years) what FA wants to be in NY?
  16. gotta root for my alma mater, CSUF. GO TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring home another one!
  17. yup. and last i checked still part of the AL EAST.
  18. lolz!
  19. omfg... you're gonna tell me that after all i said, that's what offended you most!? so brady is 12-2...before he was 12-1...do you know what a dent is? given the nature of single-game elminations in the nfl, it will take awhile for brady's precious post-season record to be tarnished...easy pat fan, im not tryin to mock you, rest assured his legacy is safe since i doubt he'll still be around for another 10 losses in a row.
