I completly agree, Millar will be missed, even though i think Youk is a upgrade, Millar brought intangables to this club, that helped turn this franchise around when he arrvied in 2003. Before that year the Sox always tried to imatate the Yankees, but Millars presence changed the attitude around here which helped us win a W.S title, and every Sox fan should be greatful for that. Also for the two years that he did hit he added a great presence in the lineup as well -
The redsox should be concerend with getting a ss and cf not trading one of the best hitters in the game, with the addition of a Coco Crisp or J. reed i think the sox could be contendors next season.

From what ive heard the Organization wants Paps to start. Lets be real he is 25 and the time is right to throw him out there every 5 days and see what he can do. When there is a potential for 200 innings and over 200 Ks, why would you only want that for only 65-80 innings. Paps starting is a no Brainer
