    At first I kind of believed in what Theo was doing, however I realized today, once guys like Lester Hansen, Delcarmen and Ellsbury have hit their prime, Manny and Ortiz will be old. Schill will be long gone, and if we want to be competative we are going to have to make key trades and large off season FA signings. So in a market like Boston their should be a win every year mentality, because we forget that the "real" conerstones of the team will be gone before the young kids are ready to lead us to a w.s title. I think that you always think of next year, next year and not wait to see, if by chance your young kids are good, because a lot of the time things dont work out with prospects. I really think Theos plan is misguided and he should be focusing on 06, rather than 08. I mean honestly a team should at least make the playoffs if they are charing 50 bucks a seat, and it cost 10 bucks for a hot dog and soda.

    Other than Schilling and Papelbon, name a pitcher that has been good. You cant win with 2 good pitchers. Also our offense aganist good pitching has been awful lately.

    I suppose thats where belongs, as for the celtics I think They will win. Jason Kidd is a year older and its time for Perk, big Al and Delonte to step up. Plus they have Paul Pierce coming off a huge year. My uncle who post on RealGm told me that Wally's knee is now bone on bone, and its not a good situation for someone who is only 28

    I know there has been some discussion about this, but I wanted to bring it up since Trot could be playing on the next road trip. One thing is clear Willy Mo has to play every day. However I think Trot should split playing time with Coco, playing Pena in Center when Nixon plays. Trot had two very good months before slumping before the injury, and this time off could have been very good for him. He was probally fatigued from playing so much. I see him as a valuable part down the strech. Thoughts?

    We just won three games and people are bitching. A win is a win. Schilling and Beckett will turn it on down the strech, and Paps will continue to dominate. If you think about it we have 2 solid set up guys and a dominiant closer. Wells seems to be back, and If Lester can rebound, when Wake comes back we have a pretty darn good rotation. Isnt it good to win games when you dont pitch your best.
