    No big deal. This is ONE game, I am not worried at all. Meche pitched extremely well today, and we didn't make good descions on the basepaths. Schill had no control, his FB was 90-94 which was good, so I think he will be fine. It's not like Schill to lose control like that and he will correct it.

    What the hell was Pedroia thinking? It was a nice hit though. Let's see if Schilling can settle down.

    Nice damage control by Schill could have been a lot worse, with the pitch count, Schill will have trouble making it through the sixth today. Looks like we will see the bullpen.

    We made Meche work that inning, about 30 pitches. This lineup is going to see a lot of middle relief pitching.

    Good for Trot. I really hope he does well this year and stays healthy; this guy has had some bad luck over the last few years.

    I hope Schill can take us 7 today, then we can hand it over to Donnely and Papelbon if needed. I can't wait to see what our offense will do this season. They were a little slugish in spring training, but they snapped out of it nicely in Philly over the weekend. GO SOXXXX!!!

    It's possible, if Tek is willing to catch Wake. However, the Wake was 0-4 in 2005 when Mirabelli went down with injury. The rest of that season he was 16-8.

    I agree if Tek can make it through just one more season I will be fairly suprised. This guy IMO, is almost at the end of his career. It's not like a another AL team will be dying for him to be the every day DH.

    I bet they are just being careful. They want to give him a couple days rest, and there is no point putting him out there if he is a little bit sore.

    This lineup is really going to make the opposing pitcher work. Allready 60 pitches for Eaton in 2+ innings of work.
