  1. yea yea yea, forgot we're on the road for a sec. thanks for catching it
  2. cmon boys, bring this one home
  3. OH CAPTAIN, MY f***ING CAPTAIN!!!!!
  4. TEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  5. this is just leaving a very sour taste in my mouth
  6. that was a f***ing disaster by all accounts
  7. youve GOT to be kidding me
  8. I would really really like to win this game.
  9. manny manny manny...always an adventure
  10. I only wanna see Hansen throwing more than 1 inning if its a mopup role at this point. These games are becoming far too meaningful to leave a kid in there just so he can "come of age" quicker
  11. credit the defense for us still having a 2-run lead. nice strikeout for Hansen though
  12. good heads up baseball by Lowell
  13. I agree but he's still about a year removed from college. MDC in the 7th, Timlin in the 8th, Paps in the 9th. Make it happen, Tito
  14. unbelievable. as much praise as Gonzo gets for his defense, he's still underrated
  15. excellent baserunning by Loretta as well, that's just good baseball
  16. mother nature is a Sox fan
  17. It can't be that hard to get a decent reliever from a bad team without giving up a whole lot so I'm really expecting a move to solidify the bullpen
  18. I'd love to see Mueller get offered a position within the organization if he was forced to retire.
  19. He'll need an off-speed pitcher to be a real effective starter but for now, his fastball, splitter and occaisional slider is good enough to close
  20. It's definitely sad, he was one of my favorites while we was here. He plays the game the way it should be played and I'll always remember his walkoff homer on July 24, 2004 against the Yankees.
  21. Graffanino did everything that was expected of him and probably exceeded expectations a bit but let's be honest, giving him a standing O would cheapen the whole purpose of giving standing ovations I'd be more inclined to give Bellhorn a standing ovation
  22. he played well for us but c'mon people, he played less than a full season for the Sox during a rather forgettable year. it's like giving Wade Miller a standing O if he came back. he's a likeable guy and all but I think Mark Loretta has made us forget about him
  23. I forgot how good early run support feels
  24. as much s*** as Beckett got for the Oakland start, he deserves as much credit for today's start
