I only wanna see Hansen throwing more than 1 inning if its a mopup role at this point. These games are becoming far too meaningful to leave a kid in there just so he can "come of age" quicker
It's definitely sad, he was one of my favorites while we was here. He plays the game the way it should be played and I'll always remember his walkoff homer on July 24, 2004 against the Yankees.
Graffanino did everything that was expected of him and probably exceeded expectations a bit but let's be honest, giving him a standing O would cheapen the whole purpose of giving standing ovations
I'd be more inclined to give Bellhorn a standing ovation
he played well for us but c'mon people, he played less than a full season for the Sox during a rather forgettable year. it's like giving Wade Miller a standing O if he came back. he's a likeable guy and all but I think Mark Loretta has made us forget about him
