    Since getting Gagne, Tito has f***ed up the most successful part of this team, late inning relief, for no reason other than his name is Eric Gagne.

    hypothetically speaking, even if Gagne wasn't "on board" with the success of this team, the guy is still playing for a contract next year, whether it be with the Sox or another team so its not as if he isn't trying

    its a tough call, there's pros and cons to each. Pedroia is a little more polished but Cano can be put anywhere in the lineup

    I don't see what the Sox can do other than start catching breaks though. Lowell, Tek, Youk and Pedroia have been good all year. Coco, Lugo and Manny have come around. Drew isn't trying to suck, he's just having a hard time. Ortiz is a WebMD wet dream right now. Beckett has been great all year. Dice-K has given probably better than expected. Schilling is still 40. Wakefield is Wakefield. the 5th starters have been what 5th starters are supposed to be and the bullpen has probably overachieved to this point.

    Beckett is looking about as good as he's looked all year. complete game could be in the cards here the way he's dominating the Orioles lineup
