  1. He wasn't happy enough making one out this inning?
  2. I agree, which is why I think they are small minded. They can reap greater profits, IMO, if they supplant football as #1. To do so will take change, and change is painful. It's rare when the right thing to do is the easiest.
  3. Hard to say, that's the best conference in NCAA football. I'd love to see their system and coaching at a level where they could attract some of the best talent.
  4. Get this team in a major conference.
  5. And VT looks pretty sloppy and undisciplined. Boneheaded play running into the kicker.
  6. Boise St came out of the blocks looking pretty good.
  7. Helll-Oh....Niemann!
  8. Hello...Niemann!
  9. It's easier to just refrain from saying stupid things....for most people. We'll see you well you do with that.
  10. Incorrect. I challenge people's thoughts and opinions daily, sometimes with less than friendly language. I don't resort to 3rd grade. That's your tactic.
  11. Wow, that's the extent of your wit, calling me a woman? Pathetic.
  12. I guess you were absent the day they covered irony in school.
  13. This last sentence is an ironic way to wrap that paragraph up.
  14. My post was not directed at you. I am genuinely curious about ways we can do a better job of insulating the league from people who are irrational and inexperienced. You just happened to be the irrational, inexperienced person I was talking about. Quit hiding behind the rules because I did not direcdtly insult you.
  15. Of course you consider it crying, it's common for people catching criticism to try and portray it as whining. It's bad trade because Brees typically scores more in FFB than Rivers, and not by just a little bit, plays in an offensive scheme that will likely continue to make him more productive, and Rivers will be missing his favorite target from last year. This is the patently obvious logical argument that shouldn't even require statement, but for you it apparently does. I'm not trolling anywhere. I could care less if you respond to what I post, because, by and large, my posts are responses themselves. It cracks me up how many people all say the same thing when their ideas are challenged. It's always, "if you don't like it, then ignore me", or something along those lines. How about this, how about, if you don't want to get feedback, don't throw your stuff out there for people to respond to?
  16. Then they are small minded. The NFL has a cap, more parity, and is still #1. I think baseball can still get to #1, but they need to fix the problems in the game, particularly the big-3: game length (pace of play), poor/inconsistent officiating, and the spending disparity.
  17. Nobody is crying about it. They are calling you a fool, and you seem to have some difficulty accepting that.
  18. Your opinion, which is really a bunch of pom pom waving at this point, doesn't unshitty this trade. I like this league because it's competitive and a bunch of the regulars in it know the game (fantasy FB, that is), which means nobody is getting a leg up by grabbing better players from a fool with his heart on his sleeve. It's not about what you think Rivers will do, or the asinine belief in some video game curse, it's about how you allowed someone to get better without really paying (not in terms of value). It's s*****, no getting around that.
  19. Can we create a second league each year, one that we treat like a sort of kiddie pool, to keep people who are such homers they make s***** trades like this out of the actual league? Please?
  20. Wait, wait, wait, what was that about littering the boards with crap? That's what you've been doing for months with your accusations. It's crap. Sure, it's your opinion, but that's what places like this are for. Places of discussion. Were you under some other impression? Did you think this was just a repository for your illogical rants? If that's what this place is, I want no part in it. Make a post, take the consequence of what you say, ie accept the rebuttal. The more vitriolic the post, the more you should expect from the response. You and I envision two very different places. I have no desire to experience, nor do I think this is the place of, your mental toilet. I think you should expect to stand by what you say here. If you don't want to, then don't say it.
  21. I see, you quit. Not surprising, you didn't have much to go on.
  22. Your statment about Damon concluded with a general statement about their overall motives, one you've been pimping here for a while. It's pretty clear that's what I'm responding to. Don't play dense, unless that's what you are.
