  1. Heckuva game going on at Jordan-Hare.
  2. Maybe the catch of the year by Harper for Clemson vs Auburn just before the half. What a play. And since then, Texas went from cruise control to flying down the mountain with no brakes vs Texas Tech. Anything can seem to happen when these two play in Lubbock.
  3. Then it stands on it's own and is not a response to what Spud posted. Don't you see that? When you quote something, and you take a contrarian position, it looks like you are engaging in debate. While your intent may not be to counter, you package it like you are. Anyway, it was an honest question, and I can see you aren't in the mood to be questioned, so I'll leave you alone.
  4. That makes him better than he currently is? Or is your point that a few extra ticket purchases are worth the $4.3M Spud is laughing about? I don't see the relevance of this comment.
  5. For the bulk of Singleton's career, that constituted "good wood". I just hope, for his wife's sake, that doesn't carry over into his retirement.
  6. He's not just destroying the proletariat, he's destroying the establishment. Although, I think Bush had something to do with helping push the establishment out as well. I say, good riddance. Let's clean house.
  7. Apologist.....Theo apologist, at that. Oh, and Clement lover, too.
  8. Exactly how I feel about Comrade Obama. To each his own.
  9. I see your Bautistanol and raise you a Wakefield, Mr Bigglesworth.
  10. Matt Fox, clearly a graduate of the John Lackey School of Pitching.
  11. Mike Lol

  13. Impossible is nothing, do this.
  14. Awful lots of "soft" described hits on Gameday finding a hole. The baseball Gods are not smiling on us when they offer bad luck on the same day John Lackey pitches.
  15. Four more years! Four more years! FML.
  16. This has to be the most runs Toronto has scored without a long ball all year.
  17. John Slackey.
  18. Good point, and when I was thinking about that, I meant to include him, but the volume of cervezas is getting to me.
  19. Retirement, a good choice.
  20. I beg of you, Mike Lowell, make your swan song carry tune.
  21. I don't think he's earned that new first name yet.
  22. Forget which is just better, because that is crystal clear, but lets get back to the "much". Here's the list of players that have come up and stuck with their team since 2005, ie the "young" group, for each team. Yankees: Cano, Gardner, Hughes, Joba, Robertson, Albaladejo, Aceves Sox: Lester, Pedroia, Papelbon, Buchholz, Ellsbury, Lowrie, Kalish (and Youkilis came up in 2004) Yaz's point is spot on. There's value in the Yankee group, but I take the Sox group hands down every time.
