  1. MDC got lucky there. Durham swung at what would have made it 2-0. Kid has a problem with Adam's Appleous Enlargecitis.
  2. Woods just completely tanked it at #3. He was long after the approach, skulls it over, fluffs it short, and two putts for a double. Ames +4 Stricker +4 Baddeley +5 Woods +6 Woods and Badds are about pin high in 2 on #4, a par 5.
  3. Woods tried to slam the door on 2 by going driver on the 300 yd par 4. He's in the back bunker with a downhill sand lie and the green sloping away. It will take some kind of shot to hold the green out of the bunker.
  4. Badds goes rough, short, over, 15' shy on the chip. Laying 4 on 1 with some work left to do. Woods bombed it center cut, wedge to 20', lag, tap in for par. And Badds misses the bogey putt, running it a good 5' past. His 2 stroke lead is gone.....missed the double putt, 3' left for triple on number 1. Choking up pretty bad there.
  5. Wow, so the Tiger's weren't good two years ago, and that means they won't win the Central. Yeah, that makes sense. The Tigers' staff is excellent, they play good D, and have a very potent offense. I think they'll win the Central fairly easily going down the stretch because I think the Tribe pitching has been smoke an mirrors to this point.
  6. You've got mail. Airmail, provided by Randy Winn.
  7. This is not going to be a good game for Wake unless he can get the ball down. It's been up every inning, but he's been a bit fortunate thus far.
  8. Justion Rose is teeing off. He's a twit. Noonan!....nnnnNOONANN!.....AHHHAHHHH! It worked, he's in the rough.
  9. And the pitcher strikes out. Anyone expect much from that group in the second?
  10. Klesko has a bad Jack Parkman impersonation going on.
  11. I think Manny has earned the right to swing when he pleases. It's not like the guy is up there hacking. He only pulls the trigger when it's in his spot. In other news, when that new sideline dish start working for NESN? Definite upgrade over big mouth Tina.
  12. Yeah, but he looked really bored doing it. No passion = :thumbdown
  13. KB looked up to Roberts. I don't like that.
  14. Ok, I'll bite. I don't like the WMP in CF choice today. Apparently Coco has adjusted his stance so that he's standing taller in the box, holding the bat a little more upright (not laying it back on his shoulder), and moved his feet a little closer together, and ever since the switch he's had better results. I don't like taking PT away from a guy who is working through something and finding results.
  15. Anyone watching? I like golf, but only tend to watch the big tournaments. I love the US Open because they make the 4 rounds a grueling test of accuracy and consistency. No bomb and hack approach will work there. Tiger goes for 13, but he's never come from behind to win a major. Badds looks to turn the corner and become elite.
  16. MDC is the way to go now. He's done what he needs to in order to be given another shot. The line of thinking that he's not worthy of it is the same one that would have us looking for a 2B right now. That said, if he proves for a second time that he can't handle the level, then he's used up what should be his last chance. We are a month and a half from the deadline. Internal options need to be explored before we start trading people away, and MDC fits the bill.
  17. Ignoring it works too. That post was part of the "war" on Talksox by the Dogger Blues message board. Their taunting is kind of funny in a, "Wow, that's a pretty pathetic attempt to get under my skin", kind of way. It's cute, like when your kid brother tries to match wits with one of your friends, and you know he has no shot, but you are still rooting for him to come up with one good one.
  18. He's 24. Here's a link to his BBCube page. Looks like he hit a speed bump at AAA. Let's see if he sustain what he's done the last couple of weeks. Kottaras MiLB
  19. While Jacko is smearing himself with his own scat out of excitement over the thought of Kottaras not making it, the return on 2-months of Boomer has resurected the bat of late. That's quite an accomplishment.
