  2. BA is biggest, best, and consistently most objective. Nick Hagadone Pinstripes Propaganda Plus doesn't seem like a worthy investment. I'd go with a scouting site that has no affiliation.
  3. Seems like the veneer of cool, calm, and collected from our Dogger fan contingent wears thin pretty quickly when someone baits on their team like they are so fond of doing on ours. Whiny ****s. The whole lot of you have left an imperceptable impression after such grandiose proclaimations of your wit. What a let down.
  4. I think the Noah to Chicago pick is a great fit. That team gets up and down the floor, and an athletic big man with a well rounded game is a great acquisition. EDIT: This is why Steven (ph?) A. is a mega tool. He thinks they need a slug to provide balance. I say go with what works and tweak it. Law to ATL. Good pick.
  5. Good point. I would rather take Horford + Law that Conley + Big-Man-Without-a-Name. However, they don't need a 4, so the Conley + Other-position-of-need, might be a bigger overall improvement.
  6. Ok, the 3rd pick is in, so this draft has officially begun. Horford to Atlanta. Not sold. With 2 rounds the NBA draft is all about need not best available, and they need a PG. Sure, this allows them to trade someone, but is there really a market? I'm not so sure.
  7. I think Crunch's whole point is this. Neither team has been sharp as a tack re: the recent FA class, so give the petty baiting a rest.
  8. I say both. I'm not confident in what they will have in Schilling when he returns ...**cough**Jason Schmidt**cough** I think the only prospect that should get tagged untouchable is Buchholz. This is a go year. Ellsbury, Lester, and Bowden, while all nice looking prospects, are replacable in the draft.
  9. I can't fault the O too much on this one. Sure, they were pretty inept when opportunities arose, but they also put a lot of good wood on the ball and made some loud outs. Sometimes the ball just doesn't find a hole. Another thing that has gone unmentioned is this. They win if Coco plays that ball smarter. I love the all-out effort, but that just wasn't the right pllay at the time. There were two outs, nobody on. That should be held to a single, and if it's a single, Seattle doesn't score.
  10. Wake's bad numbers against Texas are mostly in Texas.
  11. I disagree. That pitch was borderline. In other words, it was close. Papi should accept it and move on. But he's such a twat about the umps and the strikezone that he really chased on the next pitch which was way out of the zone and lead to a weak grounder to end the inning.
  12. So, if, big if the way things have gone, they score, who closes this thing out?
  13. That's true for most OFs. WMP is the oddity in playing CF better than the corners. With Ichiro's speed, that is where he should have been from day one.
  14. He's an MiLB ump filling in. He will. FSN with the transparent effort to not show the Youk replay. I suspect that means he was safe.
  15. This Ferrer-Roche kid has got nothing. Let's go MM, here you come to save the day.
  16. Who is the geyser that called the 3rd for FSN NW? That f***er needs glasses or a pink slip. Crisps can of corn to Ichiro was a gapper that was going to drop. The foul Ortiz hit into the ground on 2-2 evoked a start into his strikeout call. The fly ball to start the bottom half started out Trupe like. In short, that guy blows. Dice is cruising.
