  1. Yay, Manny brought his rake.
  2. :wtf: That was like a ninja pitch.
  3. Pedroia makes me happy in the pants.
  4. Why is Mike Cameron getting the Bonds treatment? The guy is a truly lackluster hitter.
  5. Who else had a Marcus Giles in their high school class? You know the type. Short, serious, tough, tuff, badass, the man, the midget, and dumb as a box of rocks. I know I did. s***, we had three or four of them.
  6. Was he safe or out? The SD feed isn't showing a decent replay, and it looked like the ball bounced before it hit Giles glove.
  7. Alright, Kilo. How do I subscript and superscript like you are doing with the TM?
  8. Coco 2.0 continues to impress.
  9. Can we just stick with one SS for more than one year? For chrissakes, OCab and Rent were let go and shipped off because they weren't performing, but now they are. The point being, if a player has demonstrated an ability to play, like Lugo has, they don't just lose it overnight for good. One, they can't cut him because they have to pay him anyway, and no team will pick up that salary right now. Two, they won't get s*** for him in trade, and if he starts playing well again, it will just be another link in the "We have no patience with our SS" chain. If he sucks for 2 full years, then yeah, cut bait. Moving sooner is asking for trouble.
  10. Good luck for us. I thought Maddux had him with the 0-2. That 2-seamer moves about 10".
  11. Now is a nice time for Youk to turn on one.
  12. Gonzalowned. What do Unicorns, Lepprechauns, and the bottom of the strike zone all have in common? Tonight, they are mythical creatures that don't really exist.
  13. Coco has so much nervous energy he makes coffee nervous.
  14. Holy nasty sliders, Batman!
  15. Back on, like we all knew he would be. Only thing is, with the feast or famine nature of the offense, freebies can be the difference maker. Exhibit A is his last loss.
  16. Maddux is the worst kind of pitcher for this team to face. Everyone plays patient waiting for a ball where they like it. He's got the control to keep it away from those spots. An aggressive contact team, like the Angels, would likely eat him up, but he will confound the bats. Dice needs to hold the line from here on out.
  17. And now he's rattled. What a f***ing pussy.
  18. Price to talk to Dice = $51.1M Price per season = $8M Watching him be afraid to throw strikes to Jose Cruz Jr = Worthless
  19. Leadoff walk. He sucks at avoiding that.
  20. I like Coco 2.0. Much better version.
  21. Well, at the very least its clear indication that Betances has regressed. I wonder if this is a problem of overestimating his talents at draft time or an organizational teaching deficiency.
  22. It will be funny if the Cubs don't manage to extend or sign Zambrano. They ship off their starting catcher to appease a pitcher for 1/2 a season, then the pitcher goes too.
  23. I see it, but you still have to win them. By counting only the loss column you are counting them as wins.
  24. Damage control! Damage control! I know you insist that the loss column is all that matters, but that's just more lipstick on a pig. If you are x back and (x-1) back in the loss column, that means the other team has played two more games and won both of them, putting the onus on the Yankees to win both of those extra games. The lead is what the lead is.
