From 2003 to now, he's played more, hit for about the same average, hit more homers, stolen more bases, put up a better OBP and SLG, all while maintaining clean headgear. You have to be impressed. Look, Drew's been a disappointment. But he was the most talented guy available in the offseason . This team has needed a #5 hitter since the end of '04, a season in which Trot only played 48 games. In Central, FL you probably won't get him. I'd listen to the 3rd shift on FSR on the way in to work, and occasionally, at 6:00 am when they switched to the first shift (Czaban's show), they be late switching over and I'd get it for 15-20 mins. Now I have XM and can listen to the whole show. He's hilarious. Easily the best in the biz if you ask me. Oh, and let me know if you get Sileo in the morning where you are. He's a former NFL D-lineman from the University of Miami. He's a former admitted 'roid user, and he is the absolute worst steroid apologist in the world. It will be interesting to see how they play it if Dice's endurance for the longer MLB season is done. Buck will be the best option to fill in, but they've got his workload limit to consider. Personally, I don't know if the risk of injury associated with 20 extra innings is enough to tank the season, and without Dice effective, that's essentially what would happen. When you are built on pitching, you kind of need it to be good.
