  1. Anyone have any pictures, videos, or other media they would like to share?
  2. Beckett...starting game four.... the point of this topic
  3. Is Trembley their fulltime manager now? If not, I wouldn't mind seeing Joe Torre their, although I think he'll hang it up.
  4. as far as clarification goes, what exactly is wrong with ortiz's knee/legs
  5. In my opinion, Joshua Beckett is a necessity for game 1, and game 4 is a possibility for Josh given the layoff. We really need to get the lead early in this series. As we saw with Cleveland, one win just isn't enough to open a series in Fenway. We have to get all four of the games.
  6. Hey folks, I am new here. I previously posted on Redsoxnation.net , but only for a little while. Hope to join you guys for the ride!!! SOX IN 5!!!!! I know it isn't huge, but I wanted to write this down. I am 17 years old, a Senior in HS. I have always been a huge sports fan, hit off of a pitch from the mound at age 2. I always loved baseball and always will. When I was growing up, in my far younger days in Alabama, I used to watch the Cubs play during the daytime. I never really got attached to them, I more or less liked them for Harry Caray. I enjoyed them through the years, although no one in my family were Cubs fans. My dad is a Red Sox fanatic. His father was a Navy brat and he grew up in Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire. He always used to talk about 86' and Buckner. He even owned a baseball card shop in Alabama and called in Fenway Cards. In 2004 I was able to experience his excitement when the Sox won it all. Over time, I guess I grew out of being a Cubs "fan". This summer, I went to my first Sox game, albeit in Baltimore, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Now, having been to a game and followed the team more closely than ever, I can truly say I am a die hard Sox fan. The feeling I got watching them win, and every single time we scored(score) a run made me feel amazing. I just wanted to let you guys know this. Useless, but I would hate to be called a bandwagon fan. I may not have been born in Boston, and may not have been raised up North. Nonetheless, I know where I come from now...... GO SOX!!!!
