He's getting worked. Finally threw a splitter, at 2-0, dumbass. He needs to get put in his place. His big head has him in love with his FB. That splitter needs to constantly be in the back of the hitter's mind, and when you don't throw it, AAAA drek like Dan Johnson can ride the heat out of the deepest part of the park. Unfortunately, it'll probably take an epic tragedy, like blowing game 7 of the WS to get him to think about it.

Seriously. He and Balfour are a rolling gravy train of magically good performance. It's like they got hypnotized into forgetting that they blow goats by the hobbit who kept intoning "losing is a disease" from The Natural. Bay isn't fooled though.

Save last year's historic stats (which resulted in the first 16-0 regular season ever), you are talking about replacing and average of 25/15 TD/INT. Look it up. Those typical NE teams averaged about 13 wins a season. Given the schedule and the quality of the rest of the team, 10 wins is no stretch. To be honest, this whole thing is kind of funny. One of the big knocks on Brady by Patriot haters is that he gets too much credit for being on a great team every year. Now that good team can't be good enough to win without the hero. Which is it?

When I click on that link, I get the football homepage, and the heading is Fantasy PLUS '08. When I click on our league, the heading changes to Football '08. I don't get it.

Have you looked at their schedule? All Cassell needs to do is not turn the ball over and they can win 10 games easily. Yes, there are quite a few good teams in the AFC this year. Two of them started off 0-1 while losing at home to Carolina and Chicago respectively. 8-8 as a best case is bluster.

Yeah. Also, I attempted to look at some of the draft guide information that you get with a PLUS league. This was after our draft, and I wanted to see if some of my picks were reaches. None of the .pdf links for the reports were active. SFoC, you may want to contact Yahoo and verify the change was made.

You've admitted you follow football at only the superficial level, so I'd back off on making predictions. Even with the loss of Brady, they have an excellent O-Line, WR corps, good running backs, and a good defense. This isn't the Bengals from a few years ago, who were deficient on offense when they weren't throwing the ball and had no defense. They've been down graded from an elite team to a very good. Looking at their schedule, it would not shock me to see them win 10 or 11 games.
