1. Make it a game, Bay.
2. Brooksbaseball.net, click the pitchfx tool link, select the date, select the game, select the pitcher, select "extra detailed" display.
3. Doesn't help when the ropes go right at people either.
4. QFT. There were some hard to play balls, but there were some bad decisions that extended innings as well. If you give a guy who swings for the fences every single time enough chances, he'll eventually run into one.
5. Markakis ends CMW's night. He got brutalized.
6. Man, take the out. If they are going to play for one run there, let them.
7. For f***s sake, Iwamura, why can't you hit .250 against us like you do the rest of the league. f***ing f***bag.
8. Here comes the douche bag of extraordinary magnitude.
9. He would have scored easily. Kapler's arm is what you'd expect to find on a 4th outfielder, adequate to be a backup in RF. You want to make the pitcher have to throw more pitches when he's deep in an inning, especially when he's struggling to locate.
10. Through 3...
Pitcher|Gifts|Squeezes Lester|0|2 Kazmir|4|0
11. Head in the game Youk. The guy is struggling to throw strikes, just take the single and make him work more.
12. Commence Laser Show!
13. Oh'fer Ellsbury. Hard contact or not earlier, that f***er needs to take a pitch or two.
14. I'll be surprised if they don't double steal here.
15. Through 2, per the pfx tool at Brooksbaseball.net, Kazmir has been gifted 4 strikes, all away at the bottom of the zone to RH batters, and none have been taken from him. Lester has no gifts and one near the top of the zone taken. That's a 5 call discrepancy through 2. Here's to hoping that turns around and evens out the rest of the game.
16. Thanks for the link, yeszir, but I'll just listen to Gameday Audio. It's nice to hear Castig's voice every once in a while. Oh, and about the Santana trade, I think Gomez breaks out this year.
17. Generous strike 2 on Gameday, too. In fact, they've made the strikezone boundary fuzzy, I suppose to indicate that it's subjective. Both were outside the fuzz.
18. O's pounding Wang. Three doubles in the 1st.
19. Can't watch the game, this sucks. I have mlb.tv, but I'm in the broadcast region. Apparently, Orlando is part of Tampa. Sun Sports has the game, and I have Sun Sports on my cable package, but Comcast is always showing some f***ed up alternate programming on Sun Sports, so, no game. I hate being in their broadcast region. I always get stuck listening to the poodle, and that's if I even get the game.
20. I don't think people will ever prefer VR to the real thing. Technology will reach out to those who have a distance from the park impediment, but those within range will find their way to the park.
21. The Phils have scored 8 in the 7th to go up 11-10 on the Braves without an extra-base hit. Four singles, 5 walks, a HBP, and run scoring ground out.
22. Pedroia seems to have the good sense not to take a dump where he eats. I can't say the same for Papelbon.

Hello

To be fair, did you notice Gom's reply in his "Introduce Yourself" post? His reaction has been warranted, or do we expect people to know that Gom is a raging douche who should be ignored from the get go? If this place is going to turn the other cheek to the way Gom posts, then it's only fair if the reaction to his posts are accepted as well. That's just me, though.
24. There is no mystery in not offering Cabrera an contract. At the time, Renteria looked like a substantial offensive upgrade, and in the swap they would net a supplemental draft pick.
