  1. That's the 4th laser that an OF had move less than 15' to catch. That s*** ain't right, man.
  2. I don't know about for free, but you can subscribe to Gameday Audio at MLB.com. It's $15 for the year, and you always get choice of home or away radio broadcast.
  3. Scott looks like he's cultivating a turbo-mullet in an effort to appear in the next Kenny Chesney video.
  4. Eddings is at least being consitent. Consistently awful.
  5. Respect the beard!
  6. Get the f*** out of here. Zaun, really?
  7. Ken Rosenthal [paraphrased + the truth of what he should have said].... "There's an interesting development in Houston, where they have just picked up an option to extend manager Cecil Cooper's contract. Earlier this week, I suggested he would be the first manager fired. Clearly this a vote of confidence from ownership to the manager [and clear proof that I am indeed a worthless hobbit when it comes to reporting the game of baseball. Please excuse me while I dismount from this stool and go to Baby Gap to pick up some casual wear.]"
  8. 4/13 @ Tampa: 1.0 IP, 8 ER 4/18 vs. Cleveland: 1.1 IP, 8 ER Progress.
  9. Baseball is a funny game. I'm watching the Tigers vs. the M's. Verlander is facing off with Felix Hernandez. If you watched either of these guys pitch and then watched Joe Saunders or Jeremy Guthrie, you'd say to yourself, "Those guys are legions ahead of the other two". Yet, when you look at their end of year numbers, the two guys who couldn't blow away household dust tend to end up with better stats. And it's not like Verlander or Felix are wild with their dynamite stuff. They tend to hit their spots, and they have at least 3 pitches to keep hitter off balance. Anyway, Verlander is perfect through 4, and Felix is struggling because the ball keeps finding a hole.
  10. I I can remember Standing By the wall And the guns Shot above our heads And we kissed As though nothing could fall And the shame Was on the other side Oh we can beat them For ever and ever Then we can be heroes Just for one day
  11. Oh, for Christ's sake.

    Papi

Dude, his buddy is a legit Cards fan, and he says that offer should do it. Don't be hatin'.

    Papi

He was, and for about a month and a half, from mid-April until he went on the DL with the clicking wrist, he was .300/.400/.600 typical "Big Papi". He's driving the ball when he times one, so I don't think injury is an issue. Right now, he just looks like he's lost his timing, and he also looks like he's pressing. He needs to run into a few and get his confidence/swagger back.
  14. Yeah, I'm curious to see how Clay does in his first full season back from injury.
  15. Nice f***ing straight change.
  16. Hey Jake, if the defense slips, you aren't a major leaguer.
  17. I think it will be a little while before we see him for multiple inning outings after LAAAoA.
  18. Who is hating Okajima vs. Markakis here?
  19. SN = ORS (One Red Seat) I'm in Orlando now, but moving to San Antonio for work in about a month.
  20. Nothing even remotely close. Make him throw you something, large father.
  21. Almanzar hit #2 tonight. It's nice to see the power, but he's started the year off a little cold. Casey Kelly pitched another 5 scoreless innings. He hasn't given a run up, yet. It will be intriguing to see how he does as a pitcher the first half of the year and then compare it to what he does as a SS the second half.
  22. Bailey clocked #4 tonight.
