  2. Yoooouk!! First career grand slam 61 RBIs puts him ahead Manny to lead the Red Sox
  3. Back to back games where Casey has missed his 1st HR of the season. Both times bouncing off the wall and back into the field
  4. What a return by Drew! 1-0, already his 17th HR EDIT: Manny!! Whoo 2-0
  5. The kid Lowrie is back in the majors This is Wakefield's 250th career appearance at Fenway Park Liz this season on the road in 5 games, 2-1 with an 8.91 ERA Wakefield this season vs Baltimore in 2 games, 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA. At home in 8 games, 5-2 with a 3.05 ERA
  6. RIP Murcer Man, is it just me, or has many surprising deaths popped for 2008?
  7. Why waste pitch outs when Buchholz isnt pounding the strike zone as it is
  8. What a dumb f***ing umpire I believe he's the home plate umpire tomorrow... should be interesting
  9. The ump is making Buchholz earn strikes early on with his wild control
  10. Burres this season vs Boston in 1 game, 0-1 with a 15.75 ERA. On the road in 8 games, 2-3 with a 3.98 ERA Buchholz this season at home in 3 games, 2-0 with a 1.04 ERA
  11. Damn it, routine flyball makes it bases loaded 1 out
  12. Tito takes his time as well to pull Javier Lopez. With the day off tomorrow, you can afford to use more of the bullpen
  13. Memo to Sox pitchers: Pick wisely when to do pickoff attempts for the rest of the game
  14. Haha Punto being too agressive with 1 out in the inning
  15. Tito didnt even have the bullpen warming up to start the 5th. Even though Beckett was already at 100 pitches, very humid day, he had a long wait during the bottom of the 4th, and Young/Lamb (expected in the inning) are a combined 9 for 18 vs Beckett
  16. Casey getting it done! After almost 3 months without an RBI, he has 2 today (including the go ahead run today)
  17. Alright, Beckett closes out the 5th inning with exactly 100 pitches
  18. God willing Beckett can get 5 innings
  19. Thats what Im f***ing talking about, some nice 2 out damage against the real Hernandez. Casey picks up his first RBI since April 20th to put the sox ahead
  20. Beckett saves Lugo from getting another error Sox facing Cy Hernandez through the first 2 innings
  21. Beckett cant put the batters away early on. First 3 batters he has gotten to an 0-2 count
  22. Cmon Sox, Livan f***ing Hernandez! Hit him hard early, opposing .336 batting average against Hernandez this season vs Boston in 2 games, 1-1 with an 8.02 ERA. On the road in 9 games, 2-5 with a 7.52 ERA Beckett last season vs Minnesota in 1 game, 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA. This season at home in 7 games, 5-1 with a 4.88 ERA
  23. Back to back 8th inning rallies, very good to see. Especially the possible start of a red hot streak by Manny Blackburn this season vs Boston in 2 games, 1-0 with a 4.26 ERA. On the road in 9 games, 2-2 with a 4.77 ERA Lester this season vs Minnesota in 2 games, 5.68 ERA. At home in 10 games, 4-1 with a 2.93 ERA
  24. Awesome game pitched by Dice-K, if only we can see this side more often. Baker last season vs Boston in 1 game, 3.00 ERA. This season on the road in 7 games, 2-2 with a 3.83 ERA. Matsuzaka this season vs Minnesota in 2 games, 1-0 with a 1.26 ERA. At home in 8 games, 5-1 with a 3.43 ERA
  25. Thanks for the error on my part. I was just starting my break at work when I saw the play quickly, naturally it was too easy to assume. I really do hope Lowrie is given a shot for the starting gig. He's almost the same type of hitter as Pedroia. His plate patience is something opposing pitchers dont want to be bothered with. Up in the majors there were a good # of times of him seeing 5-10 pitches per AB. Now he isnt the flashiest player on defense but he's got steady hands and will make routine plays. Lugo rushes routine plays even if its Jose Molina going to 1st This season (Pawtucket & Boston) 66 games- 64 for 226 (.283 avg) 16 Doubles, 2 Triples, 6 HRs, 37 RBIs, 41 Runs, 32 walks, 49 Ks, SB
