    Solid game by Wake, knew the game in Texas wasnt something to be worried about. Offense is clicking. Lowrie, Papi, and Kevin Cash! I def have to give props to Toronto. They arent mailing it in until theyre officially eliminated. Putting Halladay, Burnett and Litsch all on 3 days rest really shows that.     Very crushing blow to see Brady fall to the ground, grabbing his knee, and screaming out in pain. All I can do is cheer the team on and just be optimistic. I heard the Pats are bringing in Tim Rattay and Chris Simms. I like Simms' style and it probably shouldnt take long for him to take over duties from Cassel Cassel no doubt had a good game while subbing for Brady. But they were facing the Chiefs who have 15 rookies on their roster and one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. He is what he is, a backup

    Jets have a good chance as any to take the divsion if Cassel is the starter for the majority of the season. Hell they will be a no brainer EDIT: Wow as I speak he does a hell of a fake and makes what is possibly the best throw he's ever made

    5 straight batters retired then proceeds to allow 9 straight baserunners until Tito finally pulls him. This is definitely a "memorable start". Easily made me forget about Demarlo Hale's brain fart Hey at least Smith knows how to get the 3rd out of the inning

    Very optimistic showing by Beckett last night. On a limited pitch count against the Rangers, he threw 5 shutout innings while striking out 7. He didnt have as high velocity as used to seeing, but his location was dead on. What a game for Lowell to come back as well, HR/4 RBIs. The lineup just got even tougher, Lowell back with Cora on the bench. just wait till Drew comes back EDIT: Kudos to Pedroia for getting his 45th Double. It is the most ever in a single season by a 2nd baseman in franchise history

    Im loving the Yanks and Blue Jays right about now! The A's beat Baltimore last night 11-2 including an 8 run 8th. 5 of the runs came from bases loaded walks! 10 Walks in all for the game by Orioles pitching, Oakland had less hits (76)
