    Too expensive IMO, it is a nice thought. The Sox are in talks with the D-Backs for Montero and could cost at least 2 of their top pitching prospects

    Jacko, there is no sense in trying to compare the Saito signing with Schilling's 08 contract. Schilling was counted on to be the #3/4 starter (Also injury talk didnt start up until as ST came nearer). Saito is currently projected for middle relief, setup man if he returns any close to hid old form. Even before his acquisition, the Sox were looking pretty good in the set up corps before Papelbon

    Masterson? How is going to be yanked around? He's going to open the season in the bullpen. I dont think the Sox will do what the Yankees did to Joba this past season (Bullpen, Rotation, Bullpen)
