    It is a good deal for the Yanks Pettitte is a durable guy so theres no need to put into bold on his medical reports. But Curt did pass a physical before the 2008 season, that turned out nicely Im not wishing for injury, every single rotation has question marks. That cant be denied. A lot of things have to go right (2004 Sox is rare team to have any of the 5 starters go on the DL). Hell Lowe who was abysmal during the season, was a force in the playoffs

    By then it will be 2 weeks to pitchers and catchers, I dont think thats too short of time to strike a deal for a young stud The key for any team who gives up $5 million in chump change plus incentives... is the draft picks that are now a hot commodity as ever

Scott Boras was boasting that Tek should get 4 years/$52 million. Theo responded "Well if you think you can get anything close to that, than that team wont mind giving up draft picks" And it wouldnt have been a bad deal had he accepted arbitration and been locked up for another year at $10 million To end my post.... really people enough with the fail, its been run into the ground awhile ago

    Even with a Varitek signing, theres been numerous reports that it wouldnt negate a trade for a young catching stud.     Pedroia's homeruns barely get out... well the green monster seats (which are 37 feet from the ground) I guess make it seem that way. He got lucky on getting those 17 Hrs then. The Sox are foolish for signing Pedroia and Youk to these extensions because its all downhill from here!!
