  1. take in note dude the year 1978 with Sox having a 13 1/2 game lead, then they just let the yankeestake over
  2. yeah its about 14 RBIs
  3. well with runners in scoring position this season with 2 outs on the board, he batted just .129 (4 for 31) with 12 Ks in 31 AB's tony g- with runners in scriping position and 2 outs, like we saw wednesdays game where he hit the double to right field in the 8th to drive in 2 runs, is batting .355 (11 for 31) with 6 Ks
  4. was also same player who was in the process of coming to Boston in the trade deal for Manny, kind of eerie of how both Manny and now Cameron went through collisions on the field going for a ball in a week's span, though Cam's of course was much worse. Wish the best for him and his family.
  5. thank the f*** i have tivo!! record the pats game while watching the sox vs sox game, cuz when it comes down to it the sox game is undoubtedly more important
  6. you never know dude, twins picked up bret boone
  7. ?? um ok but foulke hasnt been in a single game since early july. you want to talk about pitchers being used too much look at the yankees using tom gordon and mo in about each game of this season
  8. Something very big on the "irony" table, I was just watching espn's show called Outside the Lines. Jason Giambi, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Rafael Palmeiro all of whom were of course were in the steroid scandal of this spring all wear the # 25
  9. go papelbon, working his way to add great depth for the bullpen for rest of 05
  10. Tony G was originally scouted before Bellhorn before the 2004 season but Tony G had opted to go with the Royals because he thought he get more playing time there, something he says he'll regret for not taking the chance with then Sox sooner.
  11. yes was as in the past tense
  12. thats what missin_cabrera was banned for, about clement. dude go ask damon what happened after his collision with his physical and mental state. (1) its best for him to take off the season after that (2) you really dont know anything if you think Mets are making the playoffs because the Braves are going to win the NL East and Astros are going to win the NL Wild Card singlehandedly.
  13. who knows with the way tony is doing good, tito might start having loyalty in him as each game goes on
  14. man Mike Cameron sorry thats the season for him, you get better and come back in full form for 2006 ---god damn it gaybo, way to be sensitive
  15. 5 game lead goin into tomorrow's white sox series, wells vs buehrle--should be good
  16. yeah i was sitting like 10 rows behind the dugout that was a shot, seeing it live it looked like it was shot out of a cannon, i didnt even see the ball go down after passing the monster
  17. hmm i think something that would bring baseball to its knees, if the big name is from the NL and it is discovered Albert Pujols has been tested positive. you never know, he did break out as a rookie with 30+ homeruns and has done it his first 5 seasons straight
  18. mark my words i bet even when sox do someday opt for like a 50,000 seat stadium, it will still get sold out for the season, no other fans like the red sox have
  19. well im thinking of the NL, one to bring baseball to its knees if he was tested positive for steroids would be Albert Pujols, never know he just broke out in his first 5 seasons in the big leagues with 30+ homeruns each season
  20. good to think about, though I wont get ahead of myself. Im going to try and take one game at a time, hard to do i know haha
  21. ah man totally agree, it shows the instant replay on 7 news, it is hard to watch
  22. my mom after my dad had left us, even on welfare took on 2 jobs to make sure we had new clothes and food on the table. take your $50 million check and stop the crying cuz youre not getting $20 million more, dont know how good you got it *******!!!
  23. Just saw this on 7 News Hope he is ok
  24. i will be part of the 35000 giving him a standing ovation but after that i will get back to reality and hoping for the likes of manny and papi to hit a homerun off of him---thats if of course manny is still on the team, which could go either way in the offseason
