  3. dude why are you complaining about what mets are getting, and not getting excited about what the Sox would get in return?
  4. they took on embree stupidly as well, haha, i think his ERA with the Yanks is over 7
  5. boo Tony G just had another great game, but hey I still love the solid D cora offers. And even though 2005 season Cora has been hitting just .221. With the Sox he is hitting .265 with 2 homeruns
  6. Traschel verses the Yankees career wise, in 8 games is 3-4 with a nice 3.65 ERA
  7. omg wow and they could in place put bronson into the bullpen as long reliever, I am liking this
  8. Met's starting pitcher, very interesting. He has just appeared in his first game this season on the 26th facing the giants, doing eight 2-hit shutout innings. His career numbers is a 119-131 record with a 4.21 ERA http://sports.yahoo.com/mlbpa/players/5172
  9. who is Transchel? i cant find him in anywhere
  10. explain how all of that happened last year with mushin muhammed and doug brien updates?? this is a sports analyst's outlook on what will happen for the Bears in the 2005 season. Vikings will finish out on top in the division, yes without the ******* Randy Moss

  12. 2005 season out look for the Chicago Bears from Yahoo! Sports
  13. Franklin to try to defuse Bronx Bombers New York (73-56) at Seattle (56-74), 10:05 p.m. ET After avoiding a sweep by the White Sox with a 9-2 win on Sunday, the Mariners welcome the Yankees to Safeco Field for a four-game series that will see Ryan Franklin and Mike Mussina do battle in Game 1. Franklin wil be looking to snap his three-game skid in which has has given up at least five runs in each start and has an ERA of 11.15. In his most recent start, Franklin gave up six runs on 10 hits in just five innings of work against the Rangers. Mussina is also coming off a tough start, having given up eight runs on six hits in just 4 1/3 innings against the Blue Jays. In his only start against the Mariners this season, Mussina picked up a no-decision in a 7-6 Yankees win back on May 18. Pitching matchup SEA: RHP Ryan Franklin • 6-14, 5.29 ERA in 2005 • 1-0, 3.00 ERA vs. Yankees in 2004 NYY: RHP Mike Mussina • 12-8, 4.21 ERA in 2005 • 0-0, 7.20 ERA vs. SEA in 2005
  14. even so, you gotta admit, I along with everyone hear will miss that mug smile in 2006. Barring that he will be 40, chances are very slim Sox will extend his contract. Despite his inherited runners problems, Timlin stands as the best reliever for the Red Sox of the 05 season. Thanks for the memories Timlin
  15. Clement has started to look like the first half ace of 2005, over his last 3 starts has allowed just 5 earned runs altogether
  16. Hansen is coming exactly on Sept 1, not before, that has been confirmed. Matt Mantei will not be considered in any roster changes considering hes out for the entire season. Hansen doesnt have to take Mantei's spot anyway, because Matt is not on the 25 man roster for the Red Sox
  17. ??? are you that thick in the head dude? every friggin sports organization sells alcohol
  18. Mantei wont be back for this season, trust me---yes on Yahoo sports, yes it does say he is on the 60 Day DL but it also says left ankle surgery (out for season)
  19. just a moth and a half left on his contract, guys. Gordon Edes has said a first baseman Sox would be looking for in the offseason
  20. everyone does know that millar will be gone in like month and a half, right? yeah it sucks ok, god you guys are acting like he just signed a 10 year extension
  21. I go back on what I said earlier about this kid being a rookie facing the yanks, he has outlasted jaret wright. Limiting the yankees to just 2 hits (both hits by Hideki) in 5+ innings, only downside was the 4 walks
  22. i believe that is the sound of the pitching staff's "savior" Jaret Wright is getting rocked
  23. i believe they were 5-11 record. Green Bay, Vikings will easily be the top 2 teams and bears have a slight chance of taking over the lions for the 3rd place in its division
  24. how did the bears do in the standings in 2004??
