  1. rent's double wasted, ugh. 13 pitches for contreras for 1st inning lets go Clement
  2. um we are more concerned of missing the beginning of the sox/sox game than this padres/cards game
  3. so lets see coming into the 9th the game was 8-2, 3 runs scored and its now 8-5--tying run is at bat. dude anyways its kind of important to us if we are missing a red sox playoffs game
  4. the rally continues--we will miss our red sox leading off
  5. cmon espn you *******s--the sox will be batting any second now!!!!---I believe Chicago and Boston networks should just switch over to the sox/sox game--its only frigging right
  6. this just in: i was really hoping to see Lenny here

  8. DiNardo's 0.69 ERA since September 1 (1 ER in 13.2 innings), yeah i agree that doesnt make any sense that he's more reliable you make it sound like DiNardo will just be a lefty specialist... wrong. DiNardo has proven to be another solid middle relief guy to eat up innings here and there. If DiNardo isnt in the roster, Myers would be the only lefty
  9. Gonzo is gone for the season, on FSN New England, Jeremi Gonzalez had gone back to his native country for personal reasons. A bullpen of: Bronson Arroyo Lenny DiNardo Mike Myers Chad Bradford Jonathan Papelbon Mike Timlin now thats a bullpen to have confidence in
  10. exactly, remember that wake was pitching on just 3 days rest for the yankees game.
  11. didnt you know "one red seat" that 95 wins in a season is not playing baseball the right way?
  12. our boy Paps, Jonathan Papelbon that is, is being listed as one of the possible unsung heroes that will emerge this October. course that was a given to us he did afterall have the lowest ERA of Set-Up pitchers in the month of September at 1.35. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4928110
  13. yes but first 2 games of the series are at chicago, not best home record. im not being cocky and saying it will be an easy sweep, i'll take one game at a time, you gotta hve faith
  14. Dinardo, Hansen and Gonzalez--one of them will be picked for last pitcher pick in the playoffs roster. its just gotta be Dinardo. Since Sept 1 he's had a 0.69 ERA (1 ER in 13 innings). Gonzalez is streaky at best when long relieving, and its best to rest Hansen and greet him warmly at spring training, afterall he did just like 3 innings altogether in the majors
  15. putting jaret wright in a game that wouldve clinched home field advantage is a dumb ass move and sox bats proved it as he just lasted lil over 3 innings with 80 pitches. mussina wouldve given more of a fight im betting. dude from the 4th inning on, the yankees conceited and threw out every backup player there was from the bench, which is what the Rangers did that exact same inning. I was at that game, and all of us just sat back in our seats because we knew that no signs of a comeback would ever come.
  16. the reason this hot second half for the yankees was not because of alex rodriguez Shawn Chacon Aaron Small if not for these two pickups, well Sox probably wouldved wrapped up the East a week or so ago
  17. they probably made it last night during champagne celebrations just want us to wait in big anticipation
  18. actually i was just watching espn, and padres this season hold the season series win over the cards, 4 out of the 7 games played.
  19. ooh man i agree there. they have to face the cardinals 1st round?? ah thats going to be a 3 game sweep for the cards
  20. I was watching ESPN and Alex Rodriguez had called out his former team the Texas Rangers because they had rested their starters, which to him had greatly helped the Angels win. um Arod, haha stop being cocky and realize that, didnt the yankees have a spring training lineup from the 4th inning on? And besides the fact they had opted to go for the inconsistent Jaret Wright over Mussina who couldve put much more of a performance.
  21. i cant have any fun on the padres, they do after all have my boy Dave Roberts on the team --him of course the one stolen base everybody will remember
  22. it all starts tuesday, may the best teams win
