  1. yeah so edgar's game winning hits, he didnt swing at those either?
  2. this is our wakefield we know and love he might have a bad inning but can retire the next 10-15 batters in a row now offense lets get this lead for good!!
  3. trust me time and time again i have seen the red sox disect great pitchers at Fenway Park
  4. ah damn haha i thought trot was about to deliver the 3rd straight shot
  5. Manny and Papi go back to back!!!!!!!!!!! White Sox we are coming
  6. oh wait still more f***ing rent bashing? rent in the playoffs is 3 for 10 (.300 avg)--another sox batter say bill mueller in the playoffs is 0 for 9
  7. as so manny has done the first 2 games equaling to 5 groundball outs
  8. oh dude cmon, ive had enough of this rent bashing--the first two games he was 3 for 9, better than a number of sox batters
  9. well the defense might be playing for the playoffs, offense is sure hell not!!
  10. hey soxsceurity Im sure you every now and then are able to talk to the sox players. if you could, let Tony G know that many fans and I for one havent thought any less of him from what happened on Wednesday, still reeling for him. Unfortunately yes by the final out it did end up costly, but I know and see how much pride he takes in playing baseball. I do hope to see him back as a Red Sox come spring training.
  11. one game at a time, and i think if wake pitches like he did last month, 1.99 ERA in 6 games, I like the chances especially if Sox give him something he hasnt gotten much: run support
  12. if Damon goes to another team, which I hope doesnt happen , anywhere but the Yankees is fine by me
  13. Schilling has been getting loads of run support since he came back on board the rotation, lets hope that carries on
  14. dont forget how many times will they intentionally walk Ortiz to get to the batter behind him
  15. Ortiz has always carried the team on his back this season. Manny's struggle through his first couple of months, entering June Manny was batting just .249 with Papi at like .315. Then from Mid-August up until the last week of September Manny was agains struggling at the plate while Papi notched a franhise record with 11 HRs and 30 RBIs in September
  16. it doesnt make any sense to me either dude. yes DiNardo is a lefty reliever but cmon what's his job title? its a long reliever which means he can face both lefties and righties. Tuesday night showed why Jeremi shouldnt have been brought on as he allowed 4 extra runs to make the game into a blowout. He's streaky at best September Lenny Dinardo- 1 ER in 13.2 innings (0.69 ERA) Jeremi Gonzalez- 6 ER in 7.2 innings (7.04 ERA) facing number of righties!!
  17. if tony g had the groundball go through his legs with 2 outs in the 9th inning and the white sox score the game winning run. then yes he would rightfully be a "buckner" and the reason why they lost. this happened in the frigging 5th inning with a lot baseball left to play and sox down by just 1 run. he is still in my wish list of offseason plans for the red sox
  18. if manny asks for a trade, Sox cant even say no to him
  19. ugh... manny will be under the 10-5 rule which means if he says to the front office a trade will happen, a trade will happen. he's protected under this clause of 10 years in the majors, at least 5 years with the same team. He can pick when it is done, and to what team. theo would have no say over Manny's.
  20. Angels my team if Sox lose to Chicago, and Yanks falter to Anaheim
  21. Its not up to the Sox anymore. Manny will be a 10-5 guy, which means he picks when to make a trade and to what team. And Paul Konerko is laughing off talks of joining the Sox, he said white sox is where he wants to be or maybe the West Coast. A big part is that he grew up in rhode island as a Yankee fan...
  22. wouldnt you call Mike Cameron a liability as well, his head on collision with carlos Beltran? besides that I wouldnt want him, he's just a career .249 hitter and average strikeouts a season is 150+, yeah lets replace Manny with him please
