    Everyone was already on board even before he was called up. I do recall you saying in the offseason that youd be surprised if he got a call up this year, he needed to be traded to get Dontrelle, and the spring training stats were a sign of possible troubles against major league hitters :dunno:

    wow... Lester's next start is Tuesday, game 1 vs the Mets. He will be opposed by Aaron Soler, 3rd in his first 4 starts that he faces off against another rookie

    not getting the looking strike 3 calls, so he had Soriano swinging through air!! 9 Ks on the night. Oh yes he's here to stay. Big thanks to Theo making him untouchable and moving him up to Boston this season

    It could be a sweep. However tomorrow is a great pitching matchup. Young promising lefty Jon Lester vs rookie Shawn Hill who has been very effective in his debut season

    Cora straight up for Ramon Vazquez Cleveland, OWNED on that deal Ive always been a big fan of Cora's, good player off of the bench and has warmed to that role since coming to the Red Sox. Again I say to Theo, get him resigned this next offseason

    Give Wake that standing ovation, he battled that inning giving up 1 run despite bases loaded/no outs 104 pitches, so his night is done 6 innings, 4 Hits, 1 Run, 1 Walk, 4 Ks

    how many pitchers regularly pitch on 11 days rest? Answer no one, they need to stay on this balanced regimen. He was back home when he got the call from Theo, and was then sent to Florida to speed up his routine in a short matter of time. Anyways, why bother complain about him? He gave us quite a solid spot start that kept us in the game. So far he's in line to start game 3 against Philadelphia. After normal rest, I doubt he will still be hurting after 67 pitches.

Timlin being Timlin Manny looks ready to go all out on a nice hot streak

    All of us dont just vote for Sox players at each position on the ballot. I havent seen 1 post on here saying that Varitek deserves to be the leading vote getter. True he's picked it up, but he's been at the top even at the time when he had a .220 avg

    Van Buren is warming in the pen... Ok but Snyder has retired his last 7 batters and has already struck out 6 while walking no one. Let alone hes just at 66 pitches
