    Why is it that most no hitters are broken up by scrub players? Regardless, Dice-K one upped hsi start against Toronto. Best start ever in his career, limiting that Phillies lineup to just 1 hit in 8 innings??? Woww I was sure it would be a no hitter once I saw that grab he did at the comebacker, one of those plays that magically seems to happen

    These are todays lineups. Ortiz starting at 1st, Varitek is catching Matsuzaka this season on the road in 3 games, 1-1 with a 6.84 ERA Kendrick this season at home in 5 games, 2-2 with a 5.86 ERA

    Not surprised by this With Angel Sanchez up here, I have to wonder with him actually a more defensive minded bench player than Hall is at 2b/ss... it might be Hall getting the DFA when Cameron comes back

    Lackey has had 5 quality starts in his first 7 this season. True 2 bad starts in a row, but I highly doubt he will keep it up

    Heres hoping Dustin Richardson steps it up in Triple A. He has a 3.79 ERA through 13 games, allowing only 11 hits and striking out 19 in 21 innings.... his main stichler is that he cant find the strike zone, 15 walks in those 21 innings. Yuck

    In 105 career games at 2nd, Hall has made 19 fielding errors. Once Lowrie is healthy and playing solid ball at Triple A, a DFA is definitely in for Hall. Lackey last season vs Detroit in 1 game, 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA. This season on the road in 3 games, 1-1 with a 4.01 ERA Galarraga last season vs Boston in 1 game, 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. Last season at home in 17 games, 4-4 with a 5.10 ERA

    Oh yeah, got my Lester jersey on as well. Tito has said that despite lefty Willis starting tonight, Ortiz will be the DH not Lowell Lester hasnt faced Detroit since 2008.
