  1. 18 games of interleague is too much
  2. For some reason the Sox have gotten to Halladay number of times in the last several years. The "Are You Kidding Me?" Mojo continues
  3. Crazy stuff, heart attack at such a young age http://cache.deadspin.com/sports/joselimawife.jpg At least with her, he went as a happy guy
  4. He leads the Red Sox in hits and is tied with Pedroia for lead in team doubles (14)
  5. http://www.everydayweekender.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/tim_wakefield.jpg Tim Wakefield Vs. http://d.yimg.com/a/p/ap/20100422/capt.2d8bb74d66794d9a8a4e59fa23a02324-2d8bb74d66794d9a8a4e59fa23a02324-0.jpg Roy Halladay
  6. The Magic showed no fight entering an 0-2 deficit... Beat LA!!!
  7. Why is it that most no hitters are broken up by scrub players? Regardless, Dice-K one upped hsi start against Toronto. Best start ever in his career, limiting that Phillies lineup to just 1 hit in 8 innings??? Woww I was sure it would be a no hitter once I saw that grab he did at the comebacker, one of those plays that magically seems to happen
  8. These are todays lineups. Ortiz starting at 1st, Varitek is catching Matsuzaka this season on the road in 3 games, 1-1 with a 6.84 ERA Kendrick this season at home in 5 games, 2-2 with a 5.86 ERA
  9. http://beat.bodoglife.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/dicek.jpg Daisuke Matsuzaka Vs. http://z.about.com/d/baseball/1/0/F/J/-/-/kendrick1.jpg Kyle Kendrick
  10. Not surprised by this With Angel Sanchez up here, I have to wonder with him actually a more defensive minded bench player than Hall is at 2b/ss... it might be Hall getting the DFA when Cameron comes back
  11. Lackey has had 5 quality starts in his first 7 this season. True 2 bad starts in a row, but I highly doubt he will keep it up
  12. Lackey on the road this season in 4 games, 1-2 with a 4.64 ERA Hamels this season at home in 5 games, 3-1 with a 2.98 ERA
  13. At this point I laugh at how some people at work/family members/on the radio are still saying this team cant hit! Open your eyes, this is a damn good offense... and we are getting a healthy Ellsbury and Cameron coming back in the next several days
  14. damn, heart attack saves since last season
  15. Joba last 2 appearances-- 7 runs
  16. I remember Chan Ho Park saying that the reason why he had his season opener meltdown against the Sox... was because he had the runs. I wonder if he had another bout of them last night:lol:
  17. Heres hoping Dustin Richardson steps it up in Triple A. He has a 3.79 ERA through 13 games, allowing only 11 hits and striking out 19 in 21 innings.... his main stichler is that he cant find the strike zone, 15 walks in those 21 innings. Yuck
  18. At the same time Galarraga gets to face the B lineup
  19. In 105 career games at 2nd, Hall has made 19 fielding errors. Once Lowrie is healthy and playing solid ball at Triple A, a DFA is definitely in for Hall. Lackey last season vs Detroit in 1 game, 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA. This season on the road in 3 games, 1-1 with a 4.01 ERA Galarraga last season vs Boston in 1 game, 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. Last season at home in 17 games, 4-4 with a 5.10 ERA
  20. Johnny Damon gets the day off today. Good thing, he has had success against Lester including 2 career homeruns
  21. Oh yeah, got my Lester jersey on as well. Tito has said that despite lefty Willis starting tonight, Ortiz will be the DH not Lowell Lester hasnt faced Detroit since 2008. On the road this season in 2 games, 1-1 with a 3.00 ERA Willis last season vs Boston in 1 game, 0-1 with a 19.29 ERA. This season at home in 2 games, 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA
