    I heard on weei that MLB wants the Yankees, Red Sox and Dodgers to hurry up because their games last the longest. Oh well because those 3 team's lineups see a lot of pitches

    I just dont see how Embree at this stage will be better than Shouse. Now Im not saying Shouse will be a key cog or anything but he still has more left in his arm. Embree's season was cut short in July because of a fractured leg... but that was a god send for Colorado. In the NL, he was compiling a 5.84 ERA through 36 games. His last full season (2008, Oakland), ERA was at 4.96

    Cmon now the Yankees rotation will be healthy for the whole season and the 1-4 starters will pitch at least a combined 800 innings!!

    Id rather have him get his feet wet in Triple A. The biggest jump in the minors is Double A to Triple A. There is no need to rush him. Besides he has never appeared in relief. He has always been a starter. Like Iglesias, he will be a September call up

    No problem. And when you see spring training stats on redsox.com, it doesnt include the college games. Its still spring training regardless IMO Nice to see that Ortiz's avg is all sudden at .281. He's hit 2 HRs in the past week
