  1. Omg Yoooouk, the guy is just on f***ing fire now I wonder if my friend is having a great night with the tix I gave him
  2. He needs to start against the Red Sox this wknd, put that $28 million investment to good use. Having him pushed towards the White Sox series shows that the Yankees brass is scared of this guy facing the Red Sox. While they avoid that... that would give him what like 6/7 days of rest in between starts?
  3. Ortiz is out for a 2nd straight day, Wily Mo at DH. Its a combination of dehydration and his hammy giving him trouble. Returning tomorrow is possible
  4. How sad If only tho he were smarter. Going out for a jet ski ride at night... with no lifejackets Yep its been confirmed, just sad to hear. Just a young age to die, my age too http://blog.nola.com/times-picayune/2007/05/coast_guard_search_continues_f.html
  5. Or how about Okajima has as many saves as the entire Yankees pitching staff?
  6. Not to step on any toes "Youk", but shouldnt it have been EvilDonut who makes the game thread today? Lee this season on the road in 3 games, 1-1 with a 6.38 ERA Schilling this season at home in 5 games, 1-0 with a 3.51 ERA
  7. Just got back from a crazy wknd, drinks of course were included My friends and family alike are just amazed at how well this team is doing. Still try to take 1 game at a time without thinking what could be in October. Safe to say so far Varitek's bat has rebounded from where it was last year. Ive been sensing before game 3 that Drew was starting to see the ball well. Game 2 in which he had 3 walks also had hit some hard liners at positional players. Now comes the process where he starts finding holes Pedroia has started his cruise control on which he had in his years in the minor leagues, is the past is any indication... he can only go up from here. Good to see that the lesser liked relievers (Romero, Pineiro) stepped up big yesterday to make sure that lineup was held down Onto series against Cleveland. This game is all about Trot, man his ovation will be loud as hell. I did have tickets to the game but instead gave them to my friend who just lost his father. He deserves it right now more than I do
  8. Tavarez this season vs Texas in 1 game, 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA. This season on the road in 5 games, 2-2 with a 4.85 ERA Loe this season vs Boston in 1 game, 27.00 ERA. This season at home in 8 games, 1-3 with a 5.67 ERA
  9. Damon's defense has also taken a nosedive from last year. Eventually playing through his injuries was going to bite him on the ass. He should suck it up and go on the DL before it becomes something serious
  10. updated stats 20 appearances-- 2-0, 8 saves, 1.04 ERA 26 innings, 23 Hits, 4 Runs (3 ER), 5 Walks, 19 Ks
  11. my heart rate rose as Coco kept going back toward the wall Yess Sox win!! 33-15, season high 18 games above .500 Yankees down 11 1/2 games Wakefield held the line as his team actually gave him run support this time around Manny was the star of the game as he went 4 for 4 just missing a cycle by a HR. Youuk continues to be hot with an 18 game hitting streak On to tomorrow, Tavarez bringing a broom with him?
  12. Good to see that Paps is up. Meanwhile, Mannys avg should be creeping over .300 in no time
  13. Okajima up in the pen, Papelbon is not Paps' last save came in game 1 of the DH against Detroit. Okajima had the save in the 2nd game
  14. Okajima is, hmm, warming up in the pen
  15. Didnt Detroit have a 12 game lead in May last year only to finish second? Im not close to writing off the Yankees
  16. Yes Wake for thw 8th. He would be facing Kinsler, Vazquez, Lofton. No Okajima please Tito
  17. Wakefield this season vs Texas in 1 game, 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA. This season on the road in 6 games, 3-3 with a 2.65 ERA Padilla this season vs Boston in 1 game, 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. This season at home in 4 games, 2-2 with a 3.04 ERA
  18. Sox win, 32-15. Season high tying 17 games above .500 Sox improve their lead over NY back to 10 1/2 Dice-K's record now stands at 7-2. Sox are first team in baseball with two 7 game winners. He had a stomach illness plus he had to wait 2 hours fro the rain delay and wait more as his offense made the Ranghers pitching staff work hard. He'll bounce back against the Guardians next time around The offense did more than enough to back up Dice, and the bullpen made sure there would be no comebacks. No errors i see for the Sox as well
  19. What the f***? Papelbon again with a 4 run lead
  20. Okajima is this year's Tom Gordon. He's on pace to pitch 80+ innings easily
  21. Tito cut the s*** out... Okajima again?
  22. http://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/future/YankeeStadiumII.htm Here's the info and sketches of the next Yankee Stadium
  23. Francisco not pulling his weight for Texas Yooouk 2 hit game, 10-5 now
  24. Lugo! 9-5 baby RBI wise, Lugo has been one of the best leadoff hitter driving in runs 14 for 14 SBs
