  1. sox finally making good contact off of byrd, bases loaded no outs for coco
  2. Well of course no, I was just ranting
  3. 3 of his 8 starts has gone a season high 7 innings
  4. Odds are "good" that we'll see some garbage work from Pineiro and Romero
  5. Byrd at 72 pitches through 6 innings. Give him the complete game while you guys are at it
  6. Ok the Sox didnt invest $100 million into Dice-K for 1 year... they invested in 6 seasons He will have his bumps along the road in his first year. I hardly think this will be the same pitcher in year 2, year 3, etc. I am nowhere near whatsoever getting concerned about his future games to come
  7. Clippard at 98 pitches through 5. Im guessing its up to the bullpen to secure that 3 run lead over the next 4 innings
  8. He's coming off of a bad stomach flu, and before that had back to back solid games against Atlanta and Detroit (2 of the best teams in baseball) Why is he getting a standing ovation? Call me a homer, but I dont stand and clap for a pitcher whos given up 6 runs in 5.2 innings
  9. 12 Hits, 6 Runs, , Tito going to pull him now??
  10. 4-2 now, sox need to pull him. His control is off and the Guardians batters are swinging away easily. 10 Hits. Maybe that flu of his is still hanging around
  11. Cora also can be added to that mix
  12. Is it just me or has a lot of "little power" guys been getting long balls off of Yankee pitching?
  13. Well that inning didnt take him awhile... Hopefully he can get through the 6th
  14. Clippard got out of a bases loaded jam, leaving the score at 5-2. His pitch count is 68 pitches after 3 innings
  15. Coco's glove this season is... dare I say of the golden variety? Ah cmon Dice. Hits keep coming when he has 2 strikes on
  16. These are the actual lineups, Julio is getting the night off
  17. Exactly ORS, kid is what still in single A? I dont see him being above Homer Bailey and the Sox's own Clay Bucholz who should be in Triple A any day now EDIT: After the Sox have gone 3-0 in the absence of Ortiz, he'll return tonight to help Dice get the sweep down. Man this is just what I love about this team. Players go down but yet the team thrives on (Sox went 10-4 while Beckett was on the DL)
  18. Dwight "Dewey" Evans will represent the Red Sox and announce what picks they have gotten. Ill watch next Thursday just out of curiosity
  19. It will be too much for a consistent Cy Young Award winner?
  20. Jacko considering it wouldnt be a salary dump... without a doubt the Twins would ask for Phillip Hughes. They wont just accept a package of Chamberlain/Duncan and go along their merry way
  21. Thats weird because Sean MacAdams on Weei kept talking today about how Schilling will be pitching on Sunday EDIT: Just been confirmed by NESN. Wakefield, Schilling, Beckett
  22. Josh Beckett, for comparison's sake
