It then goes on to say Chamberlain would take Proctor's spot, converting him from a stud starter to big league reliever. Damn a skip of Triple A completely?

    Should have? Already speaking in past tense? Surprise that you have the yankees rotation 1-5 out pitching the sox rotation 1-5. And there should be no "push" about Beckett and Wang. Its clear that this year Beckett's been the better overall pitcher. Theres also Beckett's lower whip of 1.13 to Wang's 1.18 WHIP. Beckett has an opposing BA of .237 while Wang has been easier to hit at .257

    At least Danks is not a soft tossing lefty. Intriguing matchup. This will mark the 4th time this week a pitcher has made his first career start vs Boston, how often does this happen? Hopefully Gabbard can out duel the other young southpaw. EDIT: Ortiz out of today's lineup, his shoulder will be examined by Dr. Thomas Gil. Tito noted that when Manny saw he was hitting 3rd that there was a big smile on his face. Lineups have been updated. Danks this season on the road in 10 games, 3-3 with a 4.75 ERA Gabbard this season at home in 4 games, 4-0 with a 2.06 ERA

    Yesss Sox win, 57-39, back to 18 games above .500 and 8 game lead over the Yankees As the chants will go in Fenway Park... f*** the Ump. Seriously this goes down as the biggest blunder in umpiring I have seen in some time during a Sox game. It fueled the Red Sox and mightve woken up a sleeping giant Beckett is f***ing money... 13-3, season high 10 Ks The three concerns in the lineup during the 1st half came out big for this game. Great to see Lugo livened up and boy did he relish that standing ovation!

    I did an analysis of the offense so far in the month of July, and broke it into 2 sections. Of course as Im in the process of doing this, the offense breaks out. Wouldnt that be something? A moment of assine umpiring fires the team and especially Beckett to just do "no mercy". The fire in their eyes is something that has been missed for most of this month. Turn around? July EDIT: Ive been working long on this, so even with the awesome game tonight, Ill still post this so my time wasnt completely lost

    This year the Sox are 56-39, last year the Sox were 59-36 at this point. Last year's team is currently 3 games better than whatever this version is Yes the 2004 Sox did have bumps and bruises but I dont believe they had this kind of horrendous offensive slump Dont they have 67 games remaining?

Im sorry but this team needs a big trade Contreras vs Beckett Danks vs Gabbard Garland vs Wakefield I really wont be surprised if Sox lose 3 out of 4 or even get swept in deadly fashion by the slumping White Sox. then theyll skip on over to the juggernaut Guardians EDIT: Julio on the post game report Ok count 1 to 10... that didnt work. Lugo youre finally heating up so youre exhuding confidence from me, but... dont act cocky about a 7 game lead especially where your team is headed. I see no sense of urgency, I see no heart from this offense You win some, you lose some? In the words of Charlie Brown... good grief!
