Why has Hinske been getting more starts in the outfield? Why last night when Manny was ejected, did they send the kid in to take over in left and bat clean up?

    Why should the Sox hold onto Pena? I was a big supporter of his but he wont have consistent success unless he has plenty of playing time... and thats not happening in Boston.

    Kielty is a solid hitter as they come against lefties, Sox gain a nice right handed batter off the bench with some glove. Wily Mo is likely to be DFA'd within the next week

    My apologies, so according to you and Gom, the yankees will take every series for the rest of the season. Under scenario of taking the best of, not sweeps, that would put them in line to go 35-16 the rest of the way, 96-66 finish. Sox should start looking at the wild card standings now

    Schilling will be activated off of the DL tomorrow. With Javier Lopez being their lefty specialist, I dont see him being moved down (even tho he has options). I hope that he's back up by the time the Yankees series comes around

    Pedroia out for today's game, Crisp leading off. Im not sure why Drew is back in the 5th spot, Lowell has been running circles around Drew's poor season. Moss has been struggling as of late and has been taking grounders at 1st base. Might this be an indication that Wily Mo will be placed on waivers?... EDIT: Whomever Roto read the article wrong by Gordon Edes. He said Kielty would be an alternative to Wily Mo in terms of playing in center field. The article does state that the Sox would cut ties with Pena if Kielty is acquired. EDIT:

    Boston is the only team that has three 13 win pitchers Last night I had just a major migraine that I eventually had to go bed around the 4th inning when they were still trailing 1-0. One hell of a game to watch, tho did get jittery when saw the play by play in Gagne's inning. As roto said the playoif the game might have actually been Manny hustling all the way from first on Varitek's 2 run double. Ok so we keep the Yanks at bay while they are nearing the end of an exetended lucky schedule 67-43, back to 24 games above .500, hold on to 7 game lead Beckett vs Batista... this should be in our favor, but IT IS f***ing Seattle

From what I could understand, Sox might just place Wily Mo on waivers and get what they can from a team through the waiver line. Pedroia/Youk combo again at the top of the order, Mike Lowell batting 5th, this time with all starters in the same lineup for the first time in awhile... wouldn't mind seeing that for the rest of the season Matsuzaka this season on the road in 13 games, 7-5 with a 3.14 ERA Washburn this season at home in 14 games, 4-6 with a 4.76 ERA

    The Yankees schedule since July 1st has been a joke. From July 1st to August 8 they will have played 33 of 36 games against teams with records of just about .500 or worse. the only team worth mentioning that they played against was the Angels before the All-Star Break Sox just have to somehow hold their own until then, because starting August 10 the once happy go lucky yanks schedule will do a complete 180.
