  1. Quick... name another Center in the East that was even close to being "all-star caliber" and not named Shaq in 2003 and 2005. In 2003 you didn't even have Shaq to take up a roster spot. Big Z got the spot because he was the least undeserving. *Note -- Ben Wallace made the 2005 team as a Forward.
  2. GOT HIM!!!!
  3. Uh oh... Jorge Julio... edit: I take it back, a 0.90 ERA in 12 games as a Rockie.
  4. This is how it'll be when he actually faces lineups that are worth a s***. Not the Pirates or the struggling Mets. Jeter gets in another run down. How many is that in this series? Three?
  5. 4-2 Rockies, so Clemens gave up 4ER. Abreu got a bad read on that ball and I thought it might've gotten over his head because of it. Off the bat it looked like a HR. How many pitches did Clemens throw? I know he was around 55 through 3 innings.
  6. 3-2 Rockies and they chase Clemens out after 4 1/3.
  7. You would think he'd have made an appearance in all of this considering Pac Man was suspended without being convicted or charged with anything. Didn't Sharpton even come to Ron Artest's defense? When you're black and you get a suspension like this that completely breaks all precedent and Sharpton doesn't come to your aid... you know you f***ed up, I guess.
  8. Hit his 600th HR last night, which puts him in some very elite company. Hall of famer? Or have steroid allegations, the corked bat and his sudden inability to speak english in front of congress tarnished him enough to keep him out? And speaking of Sammy Sosa... has anybody seen his wikipedia page, lately? http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c288/seered81/sammysosa.gif
  9. Interesting to note that the last time the Yankees came to Coors Field in 2002 they scored 44 runs. Through two games they have 2. I'm pretty sure the humidor was in use in 2002, also.
  10. An O's win helps the Rocks, atleast.
  11. Well, there was Holliday's HR which was with two outs after Taveras' fielders choice and Matsui's pop out to second. Then Taveras' hit this inning, and Kaz's triple, and then Holliday's hit... so yeah, clutch hitting. Plus Helton's run would've, obviously, been with two outs.
  12. Done. 6-1 Rockies. Have all of their runs come with two outs?
  13. two run triple for Matsui!!!!!!
  14. Willy Taveras makes it 3-1 Rockies!
  15. Hopefully that one doesn't bite the Rockies in the ass. Oh yeah, Crespo. If not for the slow-mo replay they showed here (not sure if they showed one on YES), I wouldn't have thought that Helton was even close to being safe, let alone actually being safe.
  16. So close! Slow-Mo shows Helton was safe.
  17. Holliday destroyed that ball. Holy crap... edit: I don't watch the Rockies too, too much but I haven't seen many balls hit to the concourse since the days of the Blake Street Bombers
  18. Francis is going deep here... or not. Yeah, definetely not.
  19. Francis is at 92 pitches and leads off the next inning. I imagine he'll hit.
  20. Must be why Tulowitzki wears #2.
  21. Out of curiosity, since I'm watching on FSN Rocky Mountain, what's the Tulowitski/Jeter story?
  22. 1-0 Yankees. That'll be the Final Score.
