    Game would be over but Corey Patterson's an idiot. Orioles player appeared to get HBP, umpire didn't see it as such. Either way it was at least a wild pitch and Patterson didn't run home. Alright, Yankees lost!

I think you're the only one who'll be talking about Josh Beckett and C.C. Sabathia being 40+ years old in ten years considering that in ten years they'll be 37 and 36 years old respectively.

    I said in the Yankees game thread that, while I don't watch the Rockies as often as I watch the Red Sox, I haven't seen a ball hit to that concourse area since the days of the Blake Street Bombers with Bichette and Galaragga, etc.

    Holliday played in last years All-Star game. I think the Yankees series might've kind of put him on the map a little bit more than he has been -- but even then he's extremely underrated. So it goes when you play for the Rockies these days and you're not named Helton. More people will know about this guy sooner or later... I hope the Rockies eventually pony up to keep him.
