    A tie would be your best bet if your confident that you guys win... but you guys have problems of your own -- Royals just took two of three from Detroit and the Tigers needed a walkoff HR for their win. And they played pretty damn good against us.

    My thought process tends to fall in line with yours, Crespo. If the guy isn't mentally strong enough to overcome those struggles then he's not mentally strong enough to play in Boston, among other cities.

    Hey, people were jumping off of bridges when we couldn't eek anything out against the Royals pen. The point was that the offense was putting themselves in the position to score runs, it just wasn't happening, and that it was bound to happen eventually. I don't care what team it's against -- people were acting as though the struggling was going to continue through the rest of the season. I'm not saying we'll put up 10 runs a game but the offense is coming around and starting to take advantage of the opportunities they've given themselves.
